My son is eight and he gets the squick tm at anything remotely romantic, specially between heterosexual couples. When the pets made rayllum embrace in their sleep he averted his eyes and then almost buried his face in the couch, when they kissed he just got up and left and pretended he'd gone fetch a glass of water in the kitchen. He gets flustered and second-hand embarrassed when people start to profess their love for each other. It's a thing and me and his father try to talk to him about it, to understand what he feels and help him be comfortable with his boundaries. So when Claudia came back I immediately perked up to see if he'd need anything, like talking about a different subject while not looking at the TV to wait the scene out. To my surprise, he was entranced. He did not remove his eyes from the show and seemed genuinely curious. He asked me how Terry could have found a sponge, of all things. He remarked how very gentle Terry was being to Claudia. He was puzzled as to why she was silent and unresponsive, but he was glad she had someone with her throughout. I can't begin to describe how moved I was, what this means to me. Thanks tdp crew.
ok but the clauderry scenes in 5x03 are so beautiful to me. i don't want to be all "omg i can't believe they put this in a kid's show!!!!! 🤯🤯🤯" but i am genuinely and PLEASANTLY surprised at the level of pure intimacy. the sweetest and most wholesome yet the most intimate (there's really no better word) thing i ever saw oh my god it makes me cry and swoon

Saw the mushrooms that change your size and immediately went "oh fine they're establishing how Aaravos was made to fit inside the pearl". Well no, that was not exactly the point... Still relevant though.
O-oh I just got another idea. Soren and Zym def ate some other type of mushroom to revert the effect, right? So if this particular "makes you big" mushroom is taken by a regular sized human, could they in theory become as big as Aaravos? Just imagine the possibilities!! Giant Callum or giang Rayla or giant Runaan vs. Aaravos showdown. Epic. Scary. Interesting. I'm in.

I believe 6x09 takes place during the new moon, just the day after the 'moonless light' when the celestial elves took off their blindfolds. Though two weeks is still a stretch -- the season seems to happen in the span of like five to seven days, right?
So apparently a whole month passes from 6x01 to 6x09? How?
That is true!! And it makes absolutely no sense. How long were Callum and Rayla at the Starscraper? There was a lot of emphasis on the moonless night thing on 6x06 and 6x07. And 6x08 and 6x09 clearly take place on the same day. What gives?
