catra is such a fun female character because she falls into every box ever. she’s a cool villain because she finds a way to knock down every horrible man in power of abusive system a peg, kicks her abuser(s) asses and is generally cunning and extremely smart during her time being evil, while being the protagonist’s love interest and narrative foil to an extent, she’s a character that’s secretly a sweetheart but hardened from trauma, and is also a Pathetic Loser because she spends her entire life pining over the same girl (and obsessing over her during their enemies phase) who very obviously likes her back but still has a dramatic period piece esque scene saying “she doesn’t want me, not like I want her”

I finally finished this. It was a way to learn a few things I wanted to try (More vibrant colors, abstract background, etc.) So I'm happy with how this turned out. There are still many things I wanr to do ,so I'll keep you all updated on that.
