Yesterday Israel bombed Lebanon for reasons like "Hezb Allah are trying to get into this war and help Hamas".
Hours ago Egypt got bombed again but it wasn't by the borders this time no, they hit Taba, a city in Sinai Egypt, 5 were injured and damage was done to a residential building because of the "rocket".
This is where the American taxes go.
Everyone always says they wish they had leaned how to do taxes in school, but they probably don't. It's school, it sucks, learning how to do taxes would suck.
Also, you learn about parallelograms in 3rd grade for the most part, minus some basics in Geometry. Nobody is teaching taxes to a 3rd grader.
I'm glad I learned about parallelograms instead of how to do taxes. It's really come in handy this parallelogram season.

For people with anxiety about filing taxes, hereâs what things that happen when you make a mistake on your tax return:
- it gets corrected
- you get a letter in the mail either asking for some additional information or a letter showing the adjustment
- you pay the amount (thereâs options for payment plans too!) or get a refund
Things that do not happen
- youâre âin troubleâ
- you are charged with fraud
- you go to jail
I know that most people are probably just joking/exaggerating when they say a mistake on their return means they get thrown in jail but when I worked with the public I always would encounter people who believed that would happen and they would be panicking about it. So I like to put this out there every year because if I can even prevent one person from feeling that way, itâs worth it
Ooof just got that property tax letter. Why go to the trouble of itemizing my tax dollars? Save us both the trouble and just send me a postcard that says "eat shit idiot"
The Government woud shat their pants if WE could decide where our taxes go. PERSONALLY id love to see a system like ETF where taxpayer can choose their tax-support mix
