song #17
Jump by Van Halen
it was released in their album 1984 in you guessed it 1984 (shocker)
Fun fact: In the 2011 book MTV Ruled the World: The Early Years of Music Video by Greg Prato, Angelus discussed the video. "'Jump' really was just about personality, really. It was a very simple video. We shot it for nothing. David wanted to incorporate his karate-flipping - that he loved so much - into the whole thing. Seriously, I think that we probably spent more money on pizza delivery than we did on the video itself.

Song #156
Radio Ga Ga by Queen (specifically the Live Aid version because that was today)
It was released in 1984 in the album The Works, this recording however was recorded on July 13, 1985
Fun fact: Queen played a shorter, up-tempo version of "Radio Ga Ga" during this concert at Wembley Stadium, where Queen's "show-stealing performance" had 72,000 people clapping in unison.
"I remember thinking 'oh great, they've picked it up' and then I thought 'this is not a Queen audience'. This is a general audience who've bought tickets before they even knew we were on the bill. And they all did it. How did they know? Nobody told them to do it."
—Brian May on the audience participation in clapping to "Radio Ga Ga" at Live Aid.

I just dropped a new song with my band Dark Matter! A song about paranoia initially inspired by George Orwell's novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, this song will be included on my upcoming album, Living for the Darkness. You can purchase the song in the link above!
The album cover was illustrated by @the-uncanny-dag and @quilsniv!
