Dating Wornhardt Headcanons
Hello! This is my first post, so I hope you like it. Wornhardt is one of my favorite dateable characters from Sun Haven.
Wornhardt loves affection but is very private about it. He doesn’t like kissing in front of others, though Wornhardt is perfectly fine with hugs as pda.
He loves surprise hugs. Whether he is the one hugging or being hugged. And Wornhardt is very huggable. Being a comfortable amount of warm and tall enough to be the large spoon in hugs and cuddling.
Picnics by the windmills? Yes. You bring the food, he will bring the blanket and drinks. Most of the time these picnics are during his lunch break, though occasionally these are night time picnics.
These picnics are always quite peaceful. Laying on the picnic blanket and cuddling while watching the sky… or the windmill going around.
He doesn’t know too much about stars, but if you know a lot, he would love to hear about it.
Wornhardt doesn’t mind if you want to play with his hair. Though he doesn’t always take great care of it. So it gets knotted.
Secretly though he likes his hair being brushed and braided. Though he never knew how to braid hair.
He sometimes plays with your hair, running his hand through it. And if you showed him how to braid, he could braid your hair. Though at first he is rough with pulling the braids tight.
He leaves little love notes for you occasionally. Hiding them into your pockets and onto tables when he visits your home. Wornhardt even leaves small little doodles done with his pen.
Here’s a few examples of them: “You are the cure to my life. Just getting to spend time with you gives me life. Your smile lifts me up when I am down. Your touch eases my worries. My life is now so full, thanks to you.”
And then “The sun rises so that we can appreciate the day. The moon appears so that we can appreciate the night. You appeared in my life so that I can appreciate what it means to love someone. I am forever grateful that you continue to appear every day.”
“Just in case you don’t know how much I love you, I thought I’d put it in writing. I love you more than all of the grains of sand in all of the oceans in all of the world. And that’s just today. Tomorrow I’ll love you more.”
Wornhardt knows you have lots of heavy work to do, from farming, to mining and combat. He doesn’t mind patching up your injuries or even massaging your sore muscles.
Though Wornhardt is going to lecture you sometimes. Especially combat wounds, when he has to cleanse and stitch up the wounds.
He’s really good at getting the knots out of your muscles. Applying just enough pressure to get out the knots and not hurt you too bad. He doesn’t do massages for others unless he has to; or it’s for you.
If you are ticklish, Wornhardt will try to not take too much advantage of it. Though he does find it funny to see your reactions.
Nathaniel as your BF
No promises that I'm posting more, I just felt really inspired to write head cannons.
Most likely you are the one who has to ask him out first. Nathaniel shoves his emotions down, from working as Captain of the town guard. It leads him to not act upon his feelings.
He definitely makes sure you know how to defend yourself. Often takes place early in the morning, at the barracks or if you prefer, Nathaniel is willing to spar on your farm.
If you already have combat experience, then occasionally Nathaniel challenges you. Sometimes with bets, or prizes for the winner.
Nathaniel loves walking along the beach. Sometimes he shows up at your farm in the morning or late at night for a romantic walk along the shoreline if you are awake.
He doesn’t enjoy bringing you over to the barracks as much. Not very much privacy, as the others are just on the other side of the door
He doesn’t shine away from PDA if you go in for a hug in front of people. According to some of the guards, when they catch you pulling him in for a kiss and walk away, his ears turn slightly pink and freak out for a split second. They like to tease him.
Nathaniel is very warm, and is one of the taller males. So depending on your height, you might be squashed into his chest. He is also able to sweep you off your feet, and enjoys picking you up.
Roza especially loves to tease him, and gets even more of a rise out of him than the others do. Pinto and Sophie watch in horror, those two would never dream of talking to him like she does.
Never had a long term relationship before now. He would go on a few dates every once in a while, but never long term.
Acts of Service is how Nathaniel displays his affection. Helping you with chores on the farm under the guise of training or exercising.
If you get hurt, he knows basic first aid and can clean wounds. But when it’s bad, Nathaniel sends you to Wornhardt.
My new obsession until the coral island update is sun haven omg its so cute!!! Literally stardew valley but with more magic and I can be an elf with sparkly night wings I love it 😍
