“Storks” SU Au Idea
(As soon as I heard that one of the Stork’s name was Jasper, I started thinking up an SU Au. X 3 Movie: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4624424/ )
*Gems take the place of the storks, meaning that they are the ones who generate and deliver the human babies.
*Rose was curious about humans and how the magical crystal baby-making machine worked, so one day she accidentally got too close and became infused with one of the letters. (Greg sent the letter.) The resulting baby came out half-Gem.
*Jasper falls in love with and claims the baby(Steven). She ends up breaking the homing device/map so she can raise him herself. The other gems, however, chase her away from the tower and tell her never to come back.
*Steven is basically raised by the older workers in the factory that he becomes friends with(The Crystal Gems and Lapis.) Both of these disastrous events cause the Gems to stop the baby generating and delivering service. Instead they move to delivering other types of packages.
*Yellow Diamond is the current boss of the factory/tower/company. She’s moving up in the business, so she’s about to promote someone else to be boss. Peridot is the “lucky” gem who’s up for said promotion.
*Yellow Diamond tells Peridot that she has to get rid of Steven before she gets to be promoted, because he is an “abomination” being half-Gem/half-Human. Peridot tries several times to get rid of Steven peacefully but always fails(often hilariously).
*Meanwhile, Connie is the lonely kid who sends in a letter after several years of the factory not receiving any. She wants a younger sister to spend time with while her parents are working.
*Steven puts the letter into the machine(either on purpose or as an accident), causing him, his friends, and Peridot to have to team up in order to secretly deliver the baby before the rest of the gems find out.
SU Au Idea
An AU where Steven and the Crystal Gems manage to save both Blue pearl and Yellow pearl and bring them to earth. Since they aren’t used to not having someone to serve yet, Yellow pearl starts following Peridot around and Blue pearl does the same to Lapis Lazuli.
SU Au/Headcanon Idea
In which Smoky Quartz’ special ability is to amplify Steven’s healing power enough to heal corrupted gems.
*Steven’s healing power could be “watered down”/weaker than Rose’s because he’s half human. Which is why Stevonnnie wouldn’t have this amplifying ability.
*Smoky Quartz could amplify his healing power to be even stronger than Rose’s since they might end up being Steven’s most stable fusion with another gem.
*If Smoky Quartz could heal corruption, the first gem they could heal is Jasper. Amethyst would be able to be a part of the fusion that helped her “sis” and they could all three get a good head start on making amends/getting along.
This probably won’t happen in the show, but it’s really cool to think about! ^ u ^ Please let me know what ya’ll think. < 3
SU AU: Spinel the Clown Pirate
Imagine a Steven Universe the Movie AU where Lars and the Off Colors continued to be Space Pirates and went from planet to planet helping out gems and maybe even other aliens. And they eventually stumble upon Pink's old garden and free Spinel before the announcement seen at the beginning of the film. They fill her in on what she's missed a lot more slowly and empathetically. She's obviously still extremely hurt and upset but now she has a whole crew of space pirates to help her out and become her new family!!!
SU AU: Crystal Temp Switch
Imagine an AU with Connie being the one to be Pink Diamond's kid with Lapis, Peridot, and Bismuth being the OG Crystal Gems. While Steven is her human friend and Pearl, Amethyst and Garnet are the Homeworld gems that become Crystal Gems.
