Does anyone else think that the relationship between Homelander and Stormfront resembles Denji and Makima's?
So the Boys Season 2 finale is coming. I am waiting for the girls get it done.
And with the girls I mean Maeve, Starlight and Kimiko
and with it I mean Stormfront.
I am from Germany and watched it in german, where it's still german because it makes sense for her to speak german obviously.
But I didn't realize that in the original was german aswell, even though she’s dying or at least horribly injured so that she would go back to her own language.
Got to say Aya Cash’s german is decent. It’s obvious that she’s not from Germany and has quiet a heavy accent. But I could understand everything she said and usually with american shows you need subtitles to understand anything.
So kudos for Aya Cash’s german speaking abilitys (and her acting of course).

"Uncle bulky!" Bulkhead was pulled out of his concentration by his pseudo nephews excited cry. He looked down next to him to see stormfront with an urgent look on his adorable tiny face and a bucket of bright yellow paint in his hands. "Wacha need kiddo?" Judging by his expression it was important or atleast important to stormy making it important to bulkhead. "I need you to paint me!" Stormy stated hurriedly in a way that reminded bulkhead fiercely of bumblebee. "Now why would I do that?" The artist questioned genuinely curious of the toddlers intentions. "So I can be pretty like mama!" Oh that was to cute. "Really now?" Bulkhead asked with amusement. "Yes." Stormfront stated assuredly puffing his cheeks out with a serious expression which only served to make bulk internally cooe at his antics.
"I'm all dull, I wanna be bright and beautiful like mama. I wanna shine just like he does." The image of his mama played through stormfronts mind as glanced down at his servos. Mama shone so beautifully but he wasn't even close, mama was like the sun and he was closer to a dark cloud. "Awe stormy, why do you think that? You're the same color as your papa remember." Uncle bulkhead cooed gently. "Yeah but papa has red on him and I just have black." Stormfront replied dejectedly. "Your mama has black stripes just like that." Bulk reminded which was true, stormfront had often traced the dark stripes on his mama's armor and compared them to his own. "But mama's mostly bright and the stripes give him contast, mine just make me duller."
Bulkhead would have chuckled at his nephew's mispronouncing of the word contrast which he had taught him but the sadness in his optics made his spark lurch. It was true that stormfronts armature had always been dull, he even looked like he had been deactivated when he born but over the years they had all grown to see the beauty of it. He racked his processor for something to say to sooth the little one before an idea finally came to him. "Ya know, you may not have your mama's eyes but you have his optics." That caught stormfronts attention. "But my optics change color and mama's don't." Bulkhead smiled. "But they do, you've just never seen it cause it only happens when he's really angry. And you know what?" "What?" Stormfronts curiosity had clearly taken hold. "You don't just have his eyes, you have his smile to and when you're happy? You shine just like he does." The words made a look of awe spread across stormfront's face.
"Do you still want me to paint you?" Bulkhead questioned. "Nah." With that stormfront set the paint down and walked off. Bulkhead smiled after them before a thought popped into his head. "Next time you feel dull talk to your mama okay!" "Okay!" There was no way he would be able to take another one of these talks.
I commented on one post with this idea, but I wanted to make a post about it. I’ve been seeing a lot of people worrying that solider boy won’t be used in later seasons and that he was kinda just there to fill the plot.
I don’t worry about it. I’m not a comic reader so idk the technicals, but I do know leaked production photos of season 4 have black noir standing with the rest of the seven. (I don’t think it’s actually him, but that’s for a different analysis).
Considering how important BN was in the solider boy storyline, AND the generation issues we are seeing with Ryan and Homelander, I think it’s safe to assume solider boy will come back and be crucial for the rest of the plot.
