Remember at the end of Talons of Power when Darkstalker and both Anemone and Stonemover under his control for a second? When I read that scene alarms started going off in my brain and I was like holy shit this has potential

The simplified version of this is that Turtle was able to escape Darkstalker, who decided to thicken the spell he had on Anemone and Stonemover, turning them into his puppets. During the battle of Jade Mountain, he has them use their magic to fight against the IceWings. They have zero control over themselves and do whatever Darkstalker wills them to

The funniest bit is that Darkstalker decides what the two of them do with their powers, so Stonemover uses rocks and basically the entire ass mountain as his weapons because why not

Also he can control lava 😈

Turtle: *enchants a large boulder to attack Stonemover*

Moon: Turtle, no! Drop it! We don’t throw boulders at Sunny’s father!

Stonemover: *uses magic to hurl a boulder at them*

Sometimes I think about the interactions Morrowseer and Stonemover had

My headcanon is that Morrowseer was the one who came up with the tunnel idea and was sort of like Stonemover’s “project overseer” (haha get it morrowSEER)

When i re-read book 5, i legitimatly forgot Thorn's reaction when she gets confirmation that Stonemover is alive

Like this woman curses him out and rips the letter he sent but never reached her and wonders why he never visited her since he wasnt a prisoner nor dead

Thorn, sweetheart, you just got confirmation that your previous lover and the father of your daughter, WHO IS STANDING RIGHT THERE WHILE YOU THROW A TANTRUM, is not dead and this is how you react??

I dont understand why she was so mad, Stonemover left to protect her and himself, couldnt Thorn had put two and two together and went 'maybe he spent all of this time hiding so that the Nightwings cant find him' gurl your better then that, stop being a bitch and go look for your man

I dont even think she ever visited him after book 5, is Sunny really the only one that cares for the man???
