something about unicorns being the third in a preexisting relationship and the steddyhands dynamic being co-captains and first mate is just soooo. and how captains always go down with the ship. the way that izzy is now considered a part of the revenge. the figurehead of the ship, of the crew. he’s inextricably tied to the ship now, and the ship is in turn an extension of the captain. or captains. i’m just saying.

I just hang out in this man's room 24/7 now and I watch him twirl around in his pretty coats and I spout ominous poetry at him and give him pirate lessons while making sure I touch his ass and I HAVE TO look softly and proudly at him when he is good at pirate captaining. this is just what I do now
I'm sorry but I will ALWAYS be a fucking slut for dynamics that goes from "being petty without reason and strongly annoyed by each other's mere existence" to love because I love the opposite of just "head over heels for someone I just met". No. Let them hate each other. Let them have petty fights about mugs in the cabinets. Hell, let even the way they walk make the other lose their shit.
