Are you redoing your blog?
For the past year/year and a half, I’ve been posting character after character with the intention of sparking interest - and subconsciously craving validation that everything I’m creating is interesting and/or unique (it’s not).
This led to an unhealthy cycle where I’m too busy talking about projects I want to do for approval from others, instead of actually putting the time and work into them.
I’m reigning in my characters and a majority of my artwork outside of fan art, commissions and some interactive stuff - I still want to do interactions with other people’s characters, so I’m putting work into a couple of characters to interact with but…that’ll be it.
I’m not telling my stories openly until I have something more substantial and finished to actually show for it, because up until now I’m just spoiling a majority of my stories for anyone actually interested in them.
TLDR; I’m tired and I want to start over with a clean slate.
