WARNING: I haven’t read the comics or anything, only just saw Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, just saying.
Okay so
I recently discovered that male spider purr to attract a mate (and according to someone on the internet, they purr out of affection as well. Idk how true that is tho), and so I propose an idea:
Whenever the spider-gang go to one of the spider-people’s universe and they meet with the person’s crush/love interest/etc. (Fanmade or not), the spider person (the one’s who universe they’re in) just starts purring. And the others just think it’s a ‘them’ sorta thing, BUT THEN THE OTHER SPIDER-MEN START DOING IT TOO
SO NOW EVERYONE’S CONFUSED AS HELL CUZ NONE OF THEM KNOW ABOUT THE PURRING THING
So Peter B. decides to find out about it infront of everyone, and when the spider-men realize they’re just SO embarrassed
and the spider-girls (+MJs or Aunt Mays) are just full on laughing at them, and DEFINETELY not making it any better.
So now whenever one of the spider-men purr infront of their crush (especially if said crush doesn’t know about the spider-man’s feelings) the girls just just do the eyebrow raise/smirk/face and the spider-men are just like:
“For the love of god, STOP”
Anyway I now have a fanfic idea that I might never actually write but who knows, I certainly dont ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
