It really is universal

Love of god give them a break
thinking about how when i said 'i can't resist some good spiderman merch' the other day, someone responded 'isn't that all trans people?' and then all the trans people around me proceeded to slowly pull out their pre-prepared spidey merch
“Spider-Man isn’t transgender” oh yeah? Then explain THIS.

The transness is literally radiating off of him.

buffy and spidey (well like certain iterations of spidey) have such similar energy. i’m too tired to elaborate, so just enjoy this one instance of them using the same phrase xoxo

Welp, another night with my wacky au thoughts. I like superheroes and dimwits. I have always wanted to do those spiderman aus, but didn’t know how to approach the character.
She’s spiderman who accidentally saves people. She’s on the hunt to kill the person who kidnapped her best friend, pronounced dead. She’s never had to kill someone before, but she just knows it is the justice her friend deserves. On the way of gathering clues, she saves people from getting run over and can dismantle a bomb without batting an eye. She’s creative with her webbing and likes to make shapes out of them as if its paper Mache.
Her civilian form is very vulnerable, but no one would suspect it. She’s sweet and known for her baked treats she shares around as sometimes she mistakes the salt for sugar. She’s not very smart, gets distracted easily, and is a chatterbox. She’s always lending a hand to any sports club though because of her spider powers.
A lot of her fight scenes would be totally comedic and have gags. Sometimes she would accidentally throw a punch or bend down distracted by something while her opponent gets hit. She doesn’t know how she wins a lot of her fights, but she does.
She's rich so that’s how she got her webbing and costume. She funds a family scientist her family owns. That’s how she is able to get away with sneaking out as her parents are too busy making money to care what she does.
She has a boyfriend that is parent approved. He’s pretty smart and gets high marks in class, but is pretty clueless as how he got together with her. He is so done with her antics like reckless shopping and weird comments like defeating supervillains, but loves her craziness. He least of all suspects her as the spider superhero even though he is a junior detective. He loves mystery and the spider hero is the biggest mystery of the town.
He starts being attracted to her superhero form without knowing. This sends her into weird spirals about their relationship, but with every kiss and hug she knows he does love her.
