Yesterday I watched the new Sonic 3 trailer and I cannot explain just how excited I am LIKE??? THe boi! The traumatized and angry Shadow is gonna be here soon! Listen listen, I really wanna grab and SQUEEZE the life out of him (lovingly ofc!)!!

Wachowski and "X" are pretty chill and dont really care but "boom" is a bit upset that no one told him (although he did have his suspicions). all of them are completely supportive of them tho :]

Basically Sonic 2 in a nutshell- Trying to practice how to draw sonic and knuckles. Need more practice tho…

I haven’t draw in forever :(

knuckles learns that grapes are poisonous to dogs and has an existential crisis. he also makes it his second life mission to prevent any grape from coming anywhere near ozzie. he has broken the table (twice), made several holes in the pantry, and he and sonic each had a three-day migraine after colliding into one another head-first after diving for a bunch of grapes that had started to fall to the floor. 

WAIT HE GREW??

sonic has physically grown between the 1st and 2nd movies.

i completely didn't notice at all in the first, but on my rewatch, as tom dropped down to sonic's knees i realized he wasn't. puny anymore. in the 1st he's only up to tom and maddie's knees. by the 2nd, he's doubled in size. hes also lost a bit of face chub since the second movie. it's subtle, but it's there.

when sitting, he used to reach just up to their waists. now he's able up to their shoulders and is able to lean on them, as we saw in the final battle of sonic 2

his frame and body have gotten bigger. we're seeing him grow up.

It may not be a masterpiece, but Knuckles is a fun ride, filled with goofy moments and amazing references from the games and of course, Idris kills it again. Knuckles wasn't what I expected, but I liked it and I'm excited for Sonic 3 of course!

WE ARE THREE MONTHS AWAY FROM PEAK CINEMA

Ok something I just realized

you know that one scene in the Sonic movie where Tom hears some noises from the garage and think it’s raccoons, so he grab’s Maddie’s tranquilizer dart

And Maddie’s says it for bears meaning that those darts must have a high dose of whatever the heck is in those

so my question is

HOW THE HECK IS SONIC STILL ALIVE

with his small size and weight that dart would have had way to much for him to handle

Plus it would seems that not much time has passed between the scene where Tom shoots sonic and when sonic wakes up (my guess is 30 to 45 minutes have passed in between scenes)

even after Sonic wakes up he still is under the effects of it

my leading theory is that his powers kinda help him burn through the darts chemicals or something

So I have this hc for the movieverse:

Shadow visits sonic's house when he feels unwell, bewildered or lost. It is an involuntary action of seeking comfort when he needs it most. It has been repeated several times, and each time, Shadow becomes more comfortable with physical contact or small talk, but even so, he has yet to explain to Sonic what keeps him awake at night.
