i can’t get over the fact that we never see neil’s corpse.

We only see his hand and the gun. he’s not a person he’s a concept. Even after death he’s nothing more than his actions. The actions that effect his father.

But I also can’t wrap my mind around the fact that he’s really dead. We don’t see the body. It’s only his action but not really the result.

The result of the gunshot is the poets grief, but not neil’s dead body.
