"Are you alright?" The question burst forth from the girl's lips, laced with genuine concern. Malfoy slowly turned back to her, his features etched with a mixture of suspicion and curiosity. With furrowed brows, he peered down at the girl sitting on the floor. "Why?" His response sounded almost like a growl.

Annoyance flickered across Malfoy's face as he ran a hand through his tousled hair, a tumult of emotions swirling on his face. He took a deep breath. He seemed almost desperate, as if he were wrestling with something. His eyes darted towards the door, then back to the girl before him. Slowly, he opened his mouth to speak, only to close it again in silence. Hermione remained still, allowing him the space to grapple with his inner turmoil. She could almost see his internal struggle raging.
He looked torn, and tired and worn. As he looked into her eyes, she saw a reflection of her own inner battles mirrored back at her, a silent plea for understanding.
Malfoy turned away, his steps carrying him towards the wall where he leaned with a heavy sigh. He lowered his head. His broad shoulders rose and fell as he took a deep breath. His whole body trembled. Hermione couldn't take her eyes off him. The otherwise strong and fearsome figure now leaned against the wall, almost broken. She felt she had to do something, anything to help him.
She rose from her spot, her movements were tentative and quiet. With trembling fingers, she reached out towards him. After a moment's hesitation, she gently touched him. As her hand made contact with his back, a soft exhale escaped Malfoy, almost like a relieved sigh. Her hand almost merged with Malfoy's. She felt the trembling subside. She felt the warmth of his body, the muscles, and the anger coursing through him. It seemed as if the man too almost comfortably melted into the timid touch.
She could almost feel the loneliness, the lack of kindness, and the absence of touch roiling within him. She sensed the ache of his unspoken pain.
But the fragile moment shattered quickly as Malfoy pushed himself away from the wall, his eyes locking onto hers with a mix of fear and defiance. He stepped back.
"What are you doing, Mudblood?" His voice quivered with a vulnerability that belied his mocking face. With each word exchanged between them, tension crackled in the air.

Hermione suddenly began to panic. If she hadn't truly felt it before, she was terrified now. The thin, bony figures bore the marks of years spent in Azkaban. Their faces were narrow and sunken.
Each step she took drew attention to herself, the weight of every gaze bearing down on her. With a pounding heart, she edged closer to Malfoy, but the man stepped forward and led her on. It seemed as though something had snapped within Hermione. The only comfort she found was in the man's presence, and now even that seemed to recede. Is he just playing another role again? Is he performing the death eater for the prying eyes upon them?

Please don't be angry with me, but I much more prefer when these two struggle to get together. I just can't imagine that they immediately go to phisycal level, and I enjoy so so much if they struggle :DD
But of course I live some smut with them as well, and hopeless Draco is so close to my heart. <3
I've read multiple versions of Theo, and since I am currently trying to capture my version of his character I got interested, what kind of Theo do you love the most :)
