I may have cried when I read that. He deserves everything and has faced so much adversity and still Western institutions require him and BTS to work ten times harder for the recognition they deserve.

I love them and I know this is not over. They will still get their Grammy one day. And I will continue to love Yoongi and BTS no matter what awards they win, or don’t win.

honestly yoongi's weverse post makes me so much sadder because bts shouldn't have to run three times harder than their peers to get the awards and acknowledgement they deserve... we all know if they were white and an english group they would be treated much differently. i hate the thought that they think this is somehow on them for not working hard enough when they work harder than anyone else.
