genuinely will never understand how people can dislike the fact that now bonding with your Pokémon theoretically makes them stronger and adds buffs (i.e. “your Pokémon toughed it out so you wouldn’t feel sad”) it’s fun! I love the idea of bonding with my big fire crocodile ❤️ And also that was the ONLY reason I beat Cynthia in Brilliant Diamond, because my hellhound managed to live on 1hp so that I wouldn’t be upset, shout-out to you Fenrir the Houndoom, you goddamn legend
