Here is an idea. Yuu can change there shape to whatever and whoever they want. Like during the enterance ceremony the Dark Mirror says the Yuu has no magic. Yuu just goes "Not your kind anyway.". Turns into a bird and just flies out the window. Like they can only shapshift into an animal that they have a general understanding of. What do you think?

PFFFT- Yuu just saying, “Peace.” and leaving the entrance ceremony is hilarious to me. And shapeshifter!Yuu is going to bring so much chaos.

Just- imagine all the possibilities. They transform into Ace for a few hours so he doesn’t have to go to detention (for the price of him buying Yuu whatever they want for lunch, of course). Yuu turns into a big bird so they can taking flying lessons with her classmates too. :00 YUU TRANSFORMS INTO MALLEUS TO CONFUSE SILVER AND SEBEK.

:00 Yuu transforms into an elephant and punts Overblot!Jamil in retaliation after he does it to them.

Yuu looking at the Tweels during chapter 3 and says, “So you want to play that game, huh?” And transforms into a huge fucking sea snake. (Apparently sea snakes are one of the predators of moray eels...are the Tweels moray eels? I’m going to assume so...)

Yuu transforming into Silver or Sebek (or even Malleus himself idk) during chapter 2 to trick Ruggie.
