Almost done with another chapter!

Once it's done, I'll be doing a bonus double update! We've got our first attempt at a new characters pov along with a fluff(ish) scene! I'll also be uploading my first attempt at a drabble chapter!

Sesshomaru watched as the Miko quietly walked away from the campsite. Pain and depression radiated from her aura, causing Sesshomarus instincts to be on edge.

It was unnatural, the dynamics of their pack. Unlike what would be expected, the Miko herself presented as the alpha rather than a son of the greatest alpha to ever live, as one would expect.

And the disrespect she suffered at the hands of her first packmate as an alpha was unheard of. It made him wonder if she even understood her position as leader of the group.

Normally, her riki flowed smoothly, like gentle waves on the shoreline. But what he felt then was chaotic and without control. He could also sense the Mikos kit along with his half-brother, the taijiya, and the houishi. There didn't seem to be any hostile entities near them, so the wild outpouring of holy energy made no sense.

Hey everyone!

I wanted to touch base with yall since we've wrapped up the first segment of CKTD!

Couple of notes:

1. I've decided each arc will end with Narakus POV.

2. I've decided the arcs will be 14-18 chapters long each.

3. More action & romance to commence in arc 2.

4. I plan on wrapping everything up in 3 arcs.

These are my fallback books. Granted there are a few in @sereia1313 multichapter collection that will be added to thus list once they're done. Also I Can Hear You & Dear Sesshomaru by @ladydanitar will be pit on the list once finished.

So here's the problem...

I want to read, but I don't feel like reading any of my fall backs, and nothing is popping out to me.

There us one story I remember reading once. There was some exhibitionism going on in it, but it was a decent story. Really spicy lol 🔥.

There's one scene where Sesshomaru... does... Kagome on a balcony in front of a crowd of people. Another time a council member walks in on them doing the deed & they just keep going while Sesshomaru tears him a new one. I also believe in the same story they get it on 3x in their travels each time either naraku koga or inuyasha see them & Sesshomaru knows it.

No idea the name of this story...

Another one I read is kind of messed up but interesting... Kagome accidentally seals Sesshomaru & when she releases him she's flooded with his (extremely) trumatic childhood memories. His dad basically trades him as a means to stop a war.

Or...

I kind of want to read something long. I'm not in the mood for grape-y turned love atm.

Maybe a slow burn? Friends to lovers? Traveling with Sesshoumaru? Funny or Akward Sesshomaru? Even modern day post Canon would be nice. (As mentioned, Fallen Angel is one of my all time favorites.) Heck, even a drabble series...

Does anyone have any recommendations??? After the week I've had, I just want to get lost in a good sesskag story for a bit on my day off before I have to adult again. 🙃

My phone broke. I lost a LOT of data for cktd. Updates will be on hold about 3 weeks while I try to get another phone.

Question...

Does anyone know the name of the story where Kagome makes a deal with Sesshomarus mother to give her their first born child so Sesshomaru could be free of court life?

The main point I remember was Sesshomaru was training Kagome & after the fact, he gives her a hot stone massage. It becomes a routine where she trains & he ends the day giving her a massage.

Just a quick check in because I've gotten several messages asking... I still haven't gotten my phone so no updates yet. I have, however, been writing.

I don't currently have access to the 3 chapters I had ready to publish (why I'm waiting on my phone) because my PC is a POS & I'm on a borrowed phone currently. BUT...

I already have 3 more chapters ready to edit then publish & am working on 2 more. So once I get my new phone, I'll have several updates ready for y'all.

I'm gonna guess it'll be by the 20th that I start the uploads & I'll most likely mass post 3-5 chapters since y'all had to wait.

So as you all know, I'm actively building a home library. One of the things I want to add is a fanfiction section. I plan on binding all of my personal and my favorite fanfiction stories.

I want to do them either cloth or leather bound. I'm a huge fan of beautiful covers on vintage books. So here's what I'm looking for...

Illustrations. I want to include images in the fanfiction books, including images on the inside of the book covers. So obviously I want mostly Kagome, Sesshomaru, & SessKag images... But I'd like to include images of all the characters... Koga, InuKimi, Shippo, Rin, Kagura, Kanna, etc.

These books will NOT be sold/shared, they are for my personal collection.

"I cant!" His eyebrow rose and though he kept his gaze impassive, his thoughts raced. Rin had been with him for nearly five winters and had never once defied him. Why now did his ward choose to hide things from him? Surely she understood disobedience was unbecoming of a young lady.

A young lady...

It hit him then, Rin was very much a young lady. He guessed she was nearing her tenth year of life and he understood what must have happened.

Now that he had an idea of what the problem was, he was racking his brain trying to figure out what to do about it. Lothe as he was to admit being ignorant on any subject, the topic of human reproductive cycles was one in which he had no knowledge.

Aside from Rin, he had never associated with a human on a regular basis before. So his options for dealing with this situation were limited. But, one face stood out in his mind... his half brothers miko.

*I'm planning on it being a 31 chapter story with daily updates for 1 month*

It Grinds My Gears...

You know what really bugs me?

People using Sengoku & Edo interchangeably.

Inuyasha actually takes place during the Sengoku era (1185-1603ce, taking place closer to the late 1500s). But due to a bad translation... in English speaking countries, it's commonly thought to take place in the Edo era... Problem is, Edo era was from 1615–1868. Inuyasha takes place a full fifty years PRIOR to the Edo period.

That's it, that's the rant.

As soon as Kagome had gone down the well, Sesshomaru began his assault. A quick turn to the left had Inuyasha dodging a swipe of claws and he realized he let his thoughts get away with him. He needed to focus.

"Why the Miko remains loyal to you, when you can't show the same courtsey is beyond this one." Sesshomaru had been waiting for this. His disgrace of a half-brother had built up quite the list of offenses toward the Miko, and while she wasn't inclined to put the whelp in his place... Sesshomaru had no problem with it. In fact, he reveled in it.
