I think he truly loves wei wuxian, but he doesn't know how to feel when he sees him. His anger at the wens is truly justified, even if he takes it out on innocents whoch isnt okay. That bitch has ptsd, seeing his parents, his friends his entire life destroyed by the wens. Very little people would understand, even in the book, manhua and donghua, how that would feel.

I don't excuse all of his actions, but looking at all of his actions there is a direct cause for his anger.
