This reminded me of an incident at Sea World many years ago when a sea gull snatched food out of my hand immediately after the employee sold it to me and warned me to guard against the sea gulls. I said "OK" and turned away from her with the food in its little paper tray in my hand, and right as I turned, the food disappeared and I looked up to see the thief flying off with it.
Now I imagine this was that sea gull after he stole from me.
I came across the original video of the seagull meme! What a glorious day! I never realized it was a video, let alone a full throat and hearty evil villain laugh!
