until a new me came around
To me watching the third episode, it looks lik JM babies both JK and Tae but he seems to especially coddle Tae which honestly doesn't make sense to me since Tae is same age as him. Who even cares about the 2 months difference lol but I do think that JMs maturity is at another level. That was always going to be the case anyways since it's been pretty apparent from the beginning but this episode was noticeable too.
I personally don't think Tae and Jk were rude to Jimin. JM knows how to handle them both and if something wasn't working out for him, he would have told them off. He was just feeling motion sickness and needed a rest to gain his power back which he did halfway through the episode.
People need to stop trying to make Jimin look like a damsel in distress. He literally climbed the fucking wall and if those two were pissing him off, he can literally pick them up lol. I think people sometimes forget how strong JM is mentally and physically. Just because he doesn't feel the need to mention his strength doesn't mean he isn't strong.
I do however think JK was pretty rude to Tae. Like I know people excuse that as him being sassy, he is young and all that colourful word but I found it quiet rude. Generally I don't find him rude because I can only imagine how hard it is for them all but he isn't a baby anymore. I didn't find him rude in the USA part because I don't personally think he was rude to JM. He is obviously an awkward kid and trying to fill that silence without JM is hard. JK doesn't have the natural charisma that JM has. Plus they were both unwell so I could understand a bit there. But I thought the attitude towards Tae was a bit harsh and Tae didn't seem to deserve it.
I also think it's okay to call out certain behaviors without attacking the person. I saw shippers make fun of his rudeness saying how he didn't want Tae there. Even if he didn't want him there, he should be showing it in a better way. That's no reason to make someone feel crap. It also doesn't prove anything others than the fact that he can be an ass sometimes which I don't know why anyone would celebrate that about their favourite. This isn't to say I think JK is an asshole. I think he was being a bit of a dick in the episode. But also maybe he just wasn't having a good day.
I saw some people drag Tae for joining but I didn't see JM have any problem. Infact he seemed happy to have him there and he hung out with him a lot. The level of easiness JM has with Tae is quiet nice and that doesn't seem to change overtime. JM treats him like a fucking baby even more than he treats JK. When V is around, JMs attention also seems to go to V.
I also don't understand what people are saying when it comes to their bodies lol. I just saw two skinny dudes whose body I could have lived without seeing lol. I would say the same about it if Jimin was showing his body as well haha.
jimin's a big brother by blood so it doesn't surprise me that he babies his younger non blood related brothers.
i don't think they were necessarily rude but they certainly do not know how to read the room. if jimin wasn't feeling well and was just laying down to try to rest, getting him soaked was not the move. nausea is no joke. i had some trouble with it a month ago and i was nauseous all week but i wasn't sick. it sucks. the last thing i would've wanted was to be sprayed with water guns while trying to rest.
i also personally think ppl are reading too much into the th joining the show thing. it's not like he was one of jimin or jk's friends from outside the group like kai or mingi. jimin and jk could've said no to him coming if they really didn't want him there. they're all friends and they all clearly enjoy their time together, so i dont get the problem. you can be annoyed he's on the show but 🤷♀️
i honestly dont get the big deal with seeing them shirtless. there have only been a few instances when i've gotten excited to see jimin's body, and its very rare. it's kinda weird how stans of boy groups have gotten so comfortable expecting their idols to go shirtless or give them an ab flash. like it's not something that's surprising anymore but anticipated. they are not entitled to showing off their bodies, just like how female idols shouldn't be expected to wear incredibly revealing clothing. why has kpop gotten to a place where we value seeing skin over liking the music we listen to?

just thinking about how much money they're going to invest in jk next comeback and how it's not going to bring a positive return for them lol is what comforts me, they're going to keep trying, sabotaging and changing the narrative but at the end of the day we know who the member with the highest demand is.
it's certain that they'll put jk on a solo tour after 2025, i know he has fans and the famous "gp" but demand to fill big venues? especially in the usa? i think it's hard, what are they going to do? pay people to watch these shows? ( for sure)
I'm not going to lie, I'd love to see it happen.
shh i want a jimin tour. don't you dampen my hopes with speculation of a jk tour
no but hybe's management and financial decisions will just never make sense to me. i've given up with trying to figure it out. it's like the most basic thing to support those who are supporting you the best. ofc the kpop industry doesn't care about who's actually popular. these companies and labels are just going to do whatever they need to to push the group or person they think should be the most popular. tons of nugu groups in kpop would be huge if they were given what these big (and frankly unpopular) groups receive.
we just need to remain in peace knowing that company narratives don't change the truth. fandom narratives don't change the truth. the truth lies in the numbers, the demand, the loyal dedicated fanbases. jimin is the most popular member and if bh doesn't want that to be acknowledged? fine. but it really leaves a giant smear on their label considering they're not doing their jobs properly. it's embarrassing at the very least, and i hope their financial situation and support starts to reflect that at some point
Hello. This might be a dumb question so feel free to ignore it but I wanted to ask you if you think the other vocal line will have to adjust to Jimin’s improved (and stronger) singing technique once they come back together?
And if so, in what way?
i don't think they'll have to adjust. if anything the pitch of bts' songs might actually go down a bit considering jimin's low/mid register is a lot stronger now than it was before.
im actually excited to see how that ends up turning out because it will be mean stronger songs, amazing live performances, and more opportunity for stuff like harmonization
I think a lot of pjms missed the part in minimoni music where jimin said that when they get back, they will do what they need to and then focus on their own stuff again. I think he has discovered a love for making music, and he seems to have a lot of fun working with sgmb and other producers. He never talked about the music making process within bts with such joy and excitement as he does his solo work. Once he starts performing again with whatever bts tour they go and gets back in the groove after his service, I do think a jimin tour will be coming soon.
jimin tour....don't get my hopes up. you know im getting front row tickets the moment it's announced
it think now that jimin is more practiced at music making, he'll have even more of a hand in bts songs than before. i think pre hiatus he didn't enjoy it as much as he does now because there were always members that were better than him at it. he didn't get much opportunity to actually try it out and learn so that he could improve. i'm guessing he was stuck trying to figure stuff out because whenever he actually tried, one of the producers or the rap line would take over instead because they're professionals or something. it's hard to improve on anything or even enjoy it when all your opportunities are taken from you. that's why i cherish the bts songs jimin has some type of credit on
in the solo eras though, he was on his own and yeah, he struggled because he wasn't used to making music on his own. i really appreciate sgmb for actually challenging jimin to think creatively about things and try out lyric writing and producing and composing. instead of just doing it all for him, they let him have a hand in it and gently guided him when he was having trouble. but they let him struggle through it so he could improve
Oh my god this sentiment!!!!
"think deep down they know if JM leaves, they are fucked. I know a lot of people say RM might be the one keeping the group together but I am willing to bet it's JM. If he chooses he had had enough, I don't think BTS will cease to exist. Yeah others leaving will create a dent but I think JM leaving will break the group. I don't think he will be the way. He is too much of a good guy. He knows the legacy the group brings but it would be interesting to see".
I remember having this convo with an Army once and they got so offended that I would feel that way. Honestly when I first got into BTS, it was because Jimin was trending on Twitter. I only checked him out after I consistently saw him trend. After that I realized he was a part of group called BTS and that was it for me. I have watched BTS and their content for a long time now and there are few things I can hundred percent bank on.
BTS have an amazing chemistry as a group. Regardless of what happens behind the camera, they are able to put it all aside and work as a team. There is a great sense of pride of being a team and they genuinely like each other.
Yes they are close but they get jealous of each other. I don't know the level of jealousy but there have been a few throwaway comment from the guys which points to this.
No matter what anyone says, Jimin is the emotional centre of the group. He is the person they go to when they need to hash out things but he is also the person that calls them out when they are being shit. He is the one who will have a chat with the leader of the others are struggling. He is the one who will tell people when things aren't working and they rely heavily on him. I see this as a disadvantage for Jimin because he is constantly in a giver and fixer role and he might not be getting the same back but I think we gotta remember he is a leader behind the scenes. He knows what he wants and he will go for it.
One thing that I wish Jimin did more of us boast about himself. He is extremely talented, extremely athletic, very good at a lot of things and fucking phenomenal dancer but I don't think I have seen Jimin boast about any of this.
All the members have had a role in the beginning and they have stuck to it for years and they will continue to stick to it even when they come back as a group. The chances of them bringing up Jimins success especially the first Korean soloist to top Hot 100 will not be brought up even though they will bring up Sevens success. I genuinely don't know why they do that but this has been a common recurrence.
I personally don't think the boys are distant as people make them out to be. When they come as a group, we will see a similar dynamic.
The above paragraph about JM being the one that can break the group, I whole heatedly believe this shit. Like I truly think that if he was to return tomorrow and say to the group, I am done, they will have to walk away. I have many reasons to believe this. Firstly, it's very obvious to me that he is highly intelligent emotionally as well as intellectually. Because he is so highly emotionally intelligent, he is able to balance the group. He can be anything to anyone of them so he centres them. He shares a very good relationship with all of them and he values his relationship with them all so he goes out of his way to keep it. He isn't jealous at all of the boys so he doesn't let that get in his head. He might have little jealously over their skills but not them as people. He also doesn't need loud declaration that he is amazing or he is the best. He of course likes it because who the fuck wouldn't but that's not the only driving factor.
This is going to be so bold of me and I could be wrong and I will most likely be wrong but it will be a JK vs JM show and it will continue to be that way for a while. I think the boys have known this for a long time. They can see the metrics and judge it accordingly. From what I can see, JK has always been pushed as the centre member. They have always wanted him to be the popular member. I have never understood why but I am assuming they feel that he has more years possibly being the youngest. He is also a great singer and stable so I am not surprised. I still think it's weird that they would focus on one person in a 7 member group but it kind of makes sense. But JM has always been an anomaly. He is incredibly charismatic so that makes him stand out. He is good looking which is JK is too by the way but Jimin captures more eyeballs. But most importantly not only is he a great dancer and singer, he has a natural star quality that the rest of them including JK need to work hard to show. He has sensuality that a lot of people don't possess so it's not a surprise that the competition is between the two young members. My only surprise is the lack of musical success for V but that might change once he changes his tune. This is a space I am keeping an eye on. Honestly I am also interested to see where Hobi lands because he has a lot of potential too. Overall though, it's always been those two from the beginning. And seems to be those two now too. I would be interested to see how they would both fare if they got exactly the same roll out.
Look what I am trying to say is that I am not being mean to the rest of the members to agree with the sentiment above. Maybe that will be change but I don't see that happening. I have always thoughts that JM is a glue to the group, I felt that while watching the AYS EP three as well. He has something and that shows in their content as well as peoples reaction to him. Yes he gets a lot of negative hate but only people like Jimin who stand out get this type of hate because deep down a lot of people are insecure about him. Yes a lot of them act like he has no impact but deep down they know that he has too much impact. We all know it, Army know it, solo fans know and the company knows it too. I am just unsure why the company is being stupid but I hope one day Jimin tells us why!!
you absolutely devoured this. i have nothing to add
i would literally die to attend a concert of jimin solo tour 😭
i really don't have any hope anymore, and not because of jimin, but because hybe would never allow anything like that to happen.
there has to be one at some point. it's almost guarenteed. if you said that there'd be no solo tours before these solo eras, i would've agreed with you, but with yg going on his own tour, jimin saying he wants to do a solo tour and all these things, i think it's likely to happen at some point. im hoping.
