Royal Ontario Museum - Tumblr Posts
For anyone who wants a dino reference, here’s a nice protoceratops I met at the Royal Ontario Museum.
Whales, whales everywhere! There was a blue whale exhibit at the ROM not too long ago and I was pleased to see ancestral whales too! I forgot to capture the names :/. I’m certain there’s a pakicetus and an ambulocetus there though!
A wild wendiceratops appeared! I actually didn't know there was a new dinosaur, much less a newly discovered one when I visited that day. Was a pleasant surprise.
Have a mosasaur. I go to the ROM waaay too often. If anyone wants prehistoric skeletal photos for reference, let me know. I’ll try and crop for a larger picture.
Was looking over my old photo album and found this beauty. I believe it's a thylacosmilus. I'll try to get a better picture next time I'm visiting the ROM.
Some nice skellingtons for anyone who would like ref pics. Someday I'll get a nice camera and better photos. Probably wrong, but I'm recalling from years old memory. Left to right from below: hadrosaur- maiasaura? An Oviraptorid. Hadrosaur- Corythosaurus. Triceratops and T-rex skulls. Can't remember if the small skull is a juvenile or nanotyrannus. Bambiraptor going blarg! A pliosaur? And a lovely mosasaur.
Ref post 2, electric boogaloo! Unfortunately, tumblr only allows 10 pics per post so I'll have to make a couple of additional ones. Watch this space!
2 other angles of the little Bambiraptor! Another of the mosasaur and a skull! A b-e-a-utiful wendiceratops. Big ol giant sloth. Its-it's a t-rex :D!
Ref post 3! I think that first one might be a herrerasaurus. An allosaurid perhaps? Couple of angles of a pachycephalosaurus. Creodonts and pantodonts. Uintatherium anceps skull. Protocetatops! And more incoming.
Ref post 4, have some more! Velociraptor skull. A diving birb; might be a hesperornis. The cutest baby sauropod and a lovely centrosaurus.
Armor ref?
Would anybody like some nice armor references? I got some nice pictures from the ROM collection.
Shiiiiiney.
A lovely dorudon (I think) and a bonus blue whale.
