Love this version. This music really amps up the song and gives it some more character. The more intricate music over her wordy verses really complement each other well.

Super happy for this girl getting a Women in Music Rising Star Award! Super deserved. I love the original song but this version has such a different vibe that almost gives the song new meaning. This version is almost sadder, like if she’s longing for what could’ve been as opposed to an admittance of their relationship going downhill. The difference in spoken lyrics is also interesting, and it makes her sound like she’s realizing that she’s also partially at fault. I do love the original spoken part though and wish it was also in this version.
