Wonbin and you walk along the beach when the world is at its quietest and the ocean waves are the moon's soothing lullaby. The sky is a beautiful black ink with white speckles of shining stars.

He wants to count all the stars tonight. “I just want a little more time with you,” he mumbled under his breath, too afraid to say it loudly enough. Maybe he hates the way the words sound coming off his tongue. A little too sweet. A little too, not him.

 He's a so-called bad boy and bad boys don't say those kinds of things or fall in love. Ever. 

But summers were meant for falling in love and dancing barefoot with him on the warm beach sand when the sun went down. 

Wonbin's arms come around your waist and he lifts you off your feet and spins you around. You both laugh and he makes you feel like your favorite love song.

And when a person makes you feel like your favorite song, you just want to keep them forever. But summer love is just as short as the days in the autumn.

Then when you look up, you are at the bus stop with your best friend Anton seeing his cousin off and the guy you liked from June to August acts differently now, like he hadn't fallen in love too; Like he didn't enjoy all those nights spent with you. Like he didn't see you naked a bunch of times and convince you your body was the most beautiful thing he's ever seen when you thought it was the ugliest thing in the world. A body that made you cry. A body that you hated, but it was a body he had loved and made love to.
