I haven’t watched Requiem of the Rose King but I have have read Shakespeares Richard III - are people in the fandom generally aware Richard (Duke of Gloucester/III), Edward (VII?) and George (Duke of Clarence), are all brothers? Is this just accepted? Or is it changed in the anime? Does Anne Neville (Richard’s wife) exist? Does he kill literally everyone like in the play??? Every new thing I learn about this makes me more confused
Prince Edward aimed to become the King in hope that his dream would come true and tell his feelings to Richard. Before, he cursed both George and Edward of York for bearing the filthy rebel blood.
But when he was near death, he truly wanted to be loved by Richard and also die by his hand. He admitted that he never wanted to be the King and wanted to be always by Richard's side.
Why does Vinland saga and Requiem of the Rose King feel so similar. I understand they're both historical fantasies but come on they feel way too close I almost love it I have expected Henry III to go out and say I have no enemies and every time I see him talk about killing I get so disappointed
