I've been planning out some creature/monster ideas for Red Apocalypse lately since it is a horror based au so I put some real thought in the abominations the boys go up against

these things are called "Scouters" they have an alternative called "Watchers"

Scouters are made up of mainly teeth and flesh so they can't see anything but they certainly can hear

Watchers Are made up of mostly eyes and flesh. they can't hear but they can see really well they do have blind spots however.

anyway they're a few of the "Failed/forced Experiments" of Anti Red and they are scattered across their town they asexually reproduce which is why there's so many of them

they can disproportionate their bodies and make a bone crackling noise that makes your skin crawl. their movements are uncanny

but they are surprisingly easy to kill despite their large Stature, 2 shots and they're dead

but they are quick and aggressive so you need to be cautious around them

anyway here's a fully rendered drawing I did of it (wow shocking)

they're utterly disgusting

OKOK anyway this is Paul and Pat's designs for Red Apocalypse, they will play a crucial role in the au which I will talk about later still planning it

but yea! I wanted to make Paul Russian and Pat Austrian since it fit for me

(and I know pats name is not spelt 'correctly' but I just felt like the 'c' wasn't needed really and I just wanted to do something different)

i wanted to take into account that him and Matt canonically have a hard time getting along sometimes

the first thought that came to mind was "Hello Hellhole" when Matts personal hell was being surrounded by edds

and in "Matt Sucks" matt says after he blows up because of the sun he says "well at least Edd is Dead" so i just wanted to incorporate that

since i think people tend to forget that even Edd and Matt have a hard time getting along lmao

Red Apocalypse AU/headcanon Tom. I gave him so many details but I had fun designing him

Here is his reference sheet. Im a bit worried about his last name being too similar to Ridgewell but Riotwell sounded too cool 😭 just know that I see the characters completely separate from their voice actors hence why I made my own versions of them I just wanted to clear that up

Also Tord's little group is called the "Red Resistance"
