Someone: Ulysses by James Joyce is considered by some to be the most challenging book in the English language
Me: haha. guess those people haven't really looked into Joyce's other works

i will say however that you could argue finnegans wake is written in a pseudo-english
rather than real english
considering literally no one understands it
no further than a basic plot and some small things beyond that anyway
who knows what it really means
