Quilt Block - Tumblr Posts

The blocks for a Carpenter's Star quilt, layer out. The background is a deep red and the prints are in pinks, yellows, blues and greens. They are patterned with peacocks, flowers and vases in a style similar to some older plates or wallpaper designs.
Two piles of rectangular fabric pieces, one pile is topped with a yellow print of a vase, the other topped with an orange and yellow floral design. The pieces in the left pile have had the bottom left corner replaced by a plain red triangle. The pieces in the right pile have has the bottom right corner replaced by a plain red triangle.
The same Carpenter's Star but the blocks are now attached.

This one has come together so fast! That being said I'm now about to start the very fiddly border design... but that's for next Friday me 🤷

I have absolutely fallen head over heels for the Carpenter's Star pattern!
