note: I’m still working on this, so I decided to at least post a teaser for now ㅋㅋㅋ hope you guys like it. should I tell you what kind of !au this will be or can you guess from here already? lmao can you even guess which member this is for?

It’s early afternoon when you get to the apartment. Luckily, Seokjin gave you the spare key a while ago so that you wouldn’t have to ring the bell in cases like this. Normally, you would have felt weird about just coming in, seeing that it’s not your apartment, but you’re basically a member of the household by now, going in and out almost daily, and Seokjin knows you’re coming from your Katalk texts with him.
Once you’re inside, you listen for the boys. Nothing. The apartment is strangely quiet when usually, it would be filled with laughter, Jimin’s crow cries, Taehyung’s fake cries, Yoongi’s quiet giggles, and Jin’s ahjussi episodes or general squabbling or just any kind of noise. The door falls shut behind you and you make sure to stuff the keys back into your jeans’ pocket and wipe your feet properly on their inside-doormat. You still remember the first time you had come here, when the boys hadn’t been sure what to expect of you, when the only person you had really known was Seokjin. Back then, it had taken three visits to become accustomed to each other. After that, however, even Jungkook had taken to greeting you warmly and calling you noona.
“Jin-oppa? Everyone?”
No one answers. Strange. You decide to bring the stuff he asked for to the pantry and then leave. You have your eyes on the destination until you spot Seokjin’s phone on the kitchen table. So, is he here or not? You frown. You literally got a reply from him three minutes ago, how is his phone here when he isn’t? Maybe he’s just in the bathroom. Or he fell asleep, you think. It’s strange but strange is one of the adjectives you’d use to describe living with the Bangtan Boys. They are surreal, in a way, and down to earth at the same time.
When you reach for the pantry to sort in the new supplies, you pause. Why did Jin ask for more oyster sauce if he’s still got four glasses of it? It’s unlike Jin to not be informed about the ingredients in the Bangtan household pantry. Did you maybe buy the wrong thing? One look at the instructions on your phone tells you you didn’t. This oyster sauce is definitely the one he asked for, even the pictures match. You furrow your brows. Is something wrong? Could he be sick?
After a couple of minutes, a check-up on Jin’s empty bedroom and another three unanswered calls, you simply decide to go back home. What’s the point of waiting for Jin when he’s obviously not here? Strangely, no one seems to be at the apartment at all.

As soon as Hoseok turns on his wifi, he realizes that something is wrong. His reason to worry comes in the form of a very innocent text. “Why does Seokjin want me to buy even more oyster sauce if he still has three bottles in the pantry? Also, where are you guys?” Attached is only a photo of the familiar and full cupboards. Dark concern clouds Hoseok’s heart as soon as he reads the words over and over and he stumbles into the dance studio, where most of the other members are sitting on the ground and playing a board game.
“Guys,” he says, eyes wide, “where is Jin-hyung’s phone?”
The anxiety climbs with every passing second. Until Seokjin’s face pales.
“Get Taehyung.”

No one but Min Yoongi. Winning Park Jimin’s affection however was a game of lips and teeth, of knives and sparks. In the end, Jimin found that his new throne was more than perfect - the lap of the man who had been a formidable rival for such a long time that Jimin knew his rough edges well enough to yearn for them. An excited tingle settled in his stomach at the soft touch of those long fingers to his chin. “What a pretty prize,” Min Yoongi smiled. His face gleamed pink-red in the neon lights by his side, and Jimin sighed. “Welcome to Seoul, baby,” Jimin whispered, forcing the other man to focus on his lips. “Where the underground can be heaven too.”

The World Tour is over. Bangtan has arrived home a couple of days ago. Namjoon still receives proud and cheerful “Well done”s whenever he checks in at the company. It’s obligatory for him and the members to come to the company every now and then even in their time off, a time that should be used for resting. It’s preventive, to avoid a crash-and-burn situation like other artists experience after a great tour. Bangtan’s health, which includes their mental health, is a priority and gives Namjoon once again reason to appreciate how the company takes care of him and the others.
So he comes in every day, spending a couple of hours in his studio, either mixing new songs or writing new lyrics or discussing concepts with the planners who already are on their marks for the next music videos and albums. Yoongi does the same. They go together, both having chosen this option that Bang Sihyuk gave them.
The other members are here and there. Seokjin, Hoseok, Taehyung, and Jungkook have chosen to travel home for a week, all equipped with a to-do checklist they have to complete and turn in diligently. Jimin is still at home, dancing on the grate that runs between being okay and being really sick. He had already been near the crash before he could fight it off.

It’s during the third day that Namjoon begrudgingly makes three mind-blowing discoveries. Firstly, he really needs to keep a better tab on his friends (aka he’s not a perceptive friend at all outside of Bangtan), secondly, Jimin really has no idea what they are saying to him and thirdly, he realizes that he can’t lie to save his life. (He should really work on a good way of introducing this Jimin to the others - he can’t lie about this.) But then again, it’s not like Namjoon lies to the members often, let alone enough to get some practice in. (But the thought of the cheeky brat called Taehyung that always plays along with his lies does annoy him. The younger always acts so gullible and innocent, never giving off any vibes of treason with those big brown puppy eyes. The nerve!)

Those blue eyes glow with babylike innocence and Namjoon has to hold on to the wall to not fall for the younger’s charms. No, he wants to say sternly, but something tells him the little leopard doesn’t understand the concept of… things… yet. So all he can do before the doorbell rings a fourth time is to kinda push Jimin away gently and ignore the playful mewl and the sharp claws digging into his big toe. That should occupy him enough, Namjoon hopes and grabs the door handle.
