NEWS UPDATE
We've just received word that the Mer has fallen asleep, our brave diver, Mariana, while still trapped, remains unharmed. A team is being assembled right now for his rescue!
I'm having too much fun with this. Silly fucks.

RESCUE TEAM UPDATE
A team is on their way. They just need to get geared up first.
I live in fear of my pens running out. How will I minimally colour my block men if I don't have my pens? I need to get someone to buy me more. Probably my mom.

It seems that the rescue operation has to be postponed, there's a boat passing by that area and it could be dangerous for our team. Once it passes by we'll be back on track.
I'm not the best at doing backgrounds... or underwater boat shadows, but hopefully it came out well enough
NEWS UPDATE
Night has fallen. Due to the boat delaying the team, the rescue will be happening tomorrow. Mariana still remains safe and unharmed. We send our best wishes to him and pray that he's alright.
Nighttime sleepies. Mariana probably has hypothermia, just saying. Although, to be fair, the only time I ever wore a wet suit was in Quebec during fall, so probably a share fair colder than the area that they're in.
NEWS UPDATE
Morning has come and it seems like it'll all be going smoothly for our rescue team. Soon we'll be getting Mariana out of the water and back on land!

RESCUE TEAM UPDATE
Finally we're done with the delays and the rescue operation is a go! The mer is being safely draw away while one of our team members gets Mariana out of there.
Going to get Mariana, Charlie is being distracted by like... bait, or something. Quackity is on standby incase Charlie looses interest.

It seems this operation has taken a turn for the worse, more updates on the situation to come
It's a bit unclear and messy, so I'll go through each picture. (I lost my pens :( gonna have to rip my house apart to find them)
Picture 1: Charlie realises he's being played and is like "you fuckers are trying to steal my human"

We have successfully entered the cave, maybe this can still go well

Mariana has been safely brought to the boat and there are medics already taking care of Quackity. Operation successful, although hopefully next time we can have less injuries.
He misses him already

I'M BACK BITCHES. Do I care of mermay is over? Kinda. Will I acknowledge it? No. There's never a day that isn't for the gays and mermaids. And all the platonic partners co-parenting a child. I refuse to believe that any egg has died. I'm going through the five stages of grief, but I plan to never leave denial.
Probably gonna do more with this, who knows. My red pen is still lost, my blue pen is broken, my green pen is running out, these are trying times. It's OK tho, I have a fallback black pen.
