I was going back through my art and found these from around July and August. They’re a bit late now but oh well-
Rambling, I don’t know just a mini writing idea I had. Excuse my writing lmao.
It’s Q!Jaiden angst I guess, I don’t really know- 😭
There she was, stood in front of a mirror. The scar that covered at least half of her face, the same one from day one. The eye on that side of her face nearly beyond recognition. Eye bags were present, somehow causing her dull eyes to stand out. Was her skin always this pale? Even her vibrant blue hair was beginning to leave her, familiar dark roots growing back through. The only lively thing about her was her wings, however they were the only things that had been sheltered this entire time. Looking up for just a moment, she catches a reflection. It’s no longer her reflection, it belongs to the person she knew quite a few months back. Her eyes were quite vibrant, there was a certain glimmer in them. Her mouth was curved in the corners, pulling it into a smile; one that probably hadn’t left her face for a while. For once her hair seemed partially tidy, still that same old shade of brown. Not a single scar present, every single feature of her face was easy to make out.
Was this the Jaiden that the others all knew and thought of whenever her name was mentioned?
She raised her hand and hesitated for a split second before reaching for the mirror, the person she used to be. As she made contact with the cold, scratched glass, she blinked. When she opened her eyes, she saw herself staring back at her with the same expression: with her scars and everything. A sigh escaped from her mouth.
Perhaps this really was the person she had been all along.
It’s funny how things can change, isn’t it?
Anyways, I’ve been ill for a few days so Q!Jaiden brain rot has been hitting hard and has been enabled for once. I’ve never attempted semi-realism mixed with digital so I guess there’s a first for everything!

Those final moments
(Aka my attempt at writing something about Q!Jaiden’s canonical(?) death)
She finally opened her eyes, those alarms blaring. How long had she been sleeping for? She honestly didn’t know, and it honestly didn’t matter. No one else was anywhere near. All that she could hear was the wind, her thoughts and that deafening alarm. Those are the alarms you hear in movies, right?
Perhaps this was her answer. Tragedy after tragedy seemed to follow her. Despite all the laughs, was it really worth it? She titled her head back, resting it against the cold stone walls of the cave. Then she thought about it for a moment longer. She thought about them, she could see their grinning faces so clearly. Maybe this would really be the kinder fate.
She got up from where she was sat and wandered to the entrance of the cave. Aimlessly, she stumbled to the top of the hill before sitting down once more. She looked towards the view, a vile one, this purgatory, this murderous competition; a view that solidified her thoughts.
This was the best ending she could have.
As she inhaled and exhaled slowly, a small smile spread across her face.
After all, she did have quite an explosive personality.
Since I’m a year older now and this drawing (that got me back into digital art) is nearly a year older, I decided to redraw it!
