Byler headcanon where Will is one of those painters that get hired to paint the bride and groom at their weddings. He's so good that he can paint the recently married couple on the same day of the wedding/during the wedding reception (it's an all day thing).

It's when he's doing Lumax's wedding painting that he ends up having a meet cute with Mike Wheeler, the best man of the groom Lucas, and they keep meeting up cuz all of Mike's friends are getting married (Duzie, Hellfire guys, even Nancy to Jonathan) and Will is hired at all of their weddings because Lumax keeps spreading word of mouth how amazing of a painter Will is.

So, Mike and Will get to chatting and Karen keeps asking when Mike's gonna settle down (it's modern day so gay marriage yay). And sidenote, Will works with Jonathan as the photographer/painter brother duo.
