Locks are a symbol of security, or rather insecurity, in any case they create two worlds, the world of the inside and the world of the outside, where the outside world is hopefully less dangerous than the inside world in which we lock ourselves up and shut ourselves away.

To open a door is to enter a space of which you never know what it contains, but mostly it is just a space to live in, where something happens that really does something to us.

Experience is the only thing that time can take away from us.

Locks are for protection, but I am really anyone who is in need of protection.
