Idk if this'll even reach the right audience (fans of the game bully) but my brother saved me from writers block w a headcanon :)
I draw and write so I just kinda switch to one when I can't find motivation for the other, but when I can't do either, I'm kinda fucked. I've been getting really into the game Bully again (I beat it today) and I've been drawing a lot of fanart which I might post, but I'm getting kinda burnt out on drawing all day every day and losing steam but had even less motivation to write anything until my brother and I were talking about headcanons and AU's.
We joked about an au where Gary never went off his meds and the main three characters (Jimmy, Pete, and Gary) are actually friends, and then he told me about this one specific headcanon and I have so many ideas.
The headcanon is about Happy Volts asylum and the watcher. many people, mainly patients at the asylum, mention an unknown figure called the watcher and from what Otto says to Jimmy and statements made by the orderlies in Galloway away, we can assume the watcher is the statue in front of the asylum. My brother headcanons/theorizes from that and from unused lines from beta that this is some kind of cult and that the watcher is seen as a fearsome deity by the patients at happy volts, and we see when breaking into c block that there are stretchers and x-ray machines, which could imply that patients are being experimented on, and I mentioned Gary having to deal with that post final showdown and so I might be writing a fanfic about it. Let me know if anyone's interested!!
Too many OTPs, but I immediatly thought of Pete and Gary (Bully) as I was reading the first one. Pete always steals the blankets and it always wakes Gary up at some point, because he’s freezing (medication and all). But he just gets up and gets more blankets from his bed, because he likes to see Pete sleep. At some point all the blankets they have end up being wrapped around Pete in some way and Gary just starts sto sleep in warmer pyjamas.
They both stub their toes all the time. But Pete is more the quiet suck it up and cry the pain inside guy, while Gary curses around the whole dorm.
Gary doesn’t have a car, but if he would, he’d be the one to crash it, because Pete would be a really horrible driver, because he always does what you are supposed to do, so driving with him is boring as hell, but also really save. Gary is the lightweight. Because of his meds he should not drink any alcohol, but he still does, since he’s a teenager after all, but he can’t drink much at all. Pete is not extremly alcohol-proof, but after years of drinking with Gary he is quite good at keeping himself at a level of drunkness, that he can still bring Gary and himself home save.
Gary makes snacks loudly. But only if he is freezing so much that he actually needs something warm to eat/drink. And if he has to get up, Pete has to get up too, since it was his fault all along.
There is no suggesting in pets. If someone brings home an animal it stays. Even if it is a garden spider.
Gary drinks blck coffee, because that’s the only way he is able to gget enough cafeein, after month of plotting against Jimmy he became unable to drink anything but black coffee. Pete on the other hand enjoys trying out new weird coffee combiantions.If he is already in Starbucks, at least he can get a coffee wich does not acutally fit the description anymore.
Pete is bringing up buying healthy food, but never does it, because if they have to pay to get something eatble (and not from Edna!) they can at least enjoy junk food.
They would both run though the street to pet any dog. But Pete is the one who actually does it. Gary just walks after him and if he is already there he can pet the dog too. Not that Pete doesn’t know it any better.
They both make sure to be very perceise at using words right, if for some reason they use new words. Because they wouldn’t let the other live it down soon. Pete would be all smug about Gary saying something wrong, while Gary would just tease Pete for using such a word at all.
Okay but have you considered THESE for your OTP:
Who steals the whole fucking blanket in the middle of the night and leaves the other without any?
Which one is always stubbing their toe and screaming about it?
Who crashed a car and made the other pick them up at 3AM?
Which one is the lightweight that needs to be watched over at all costs?
Which one likes to get up in the middle of the night and (loudly) make themselves a snack?
Who is always suggesting they get another pet?
Who drinks straight up black coffee and teases the other for their overly-flavored Starbucks?
Which one insists upon buying unheard-of health foods?
Which one would run through a busy street just to pet a small dog?
Which one always mispronounces words and gets constantly corrected by the other for it?
I don't really post much and neither do I really know how posting works. but I felt like a further explanation about this was needed.

Recently there has been a, i suppose you can call it, "call out post" about our server. I would like to begin with the fact that the information said account has given is very misleading.

PART 2
Now I would like to explain stuff myself.
Yes, we do have a channel where we discuss topics that go beyond mature humor. Yes, I myself have done this. Yes, I've said stuff that contains sexual topics. But none of this had the intention of putting someone in danger. most of us in the server are teens and have mature potty humor, but whenever we went too far we've been called out for it and we didn't do it again, with MYSELF as a big example.
I would also like to say our "NSFW" channel, does not contain any actual NSFW content, there's no porn, no body pics. none of that. and we STRONGLY are against that.
We also have rules in our server that DIRECTLY says that we do NOT tolerate sexualisation of a minor.

We've had situations where these rules have unfortunately been broken and set minors in danger, but we quickly take action and have banned such people.

I would like to also say that I am very disappointed by how this was handled. The original poster, bullyworthlol, hasn't even joined the server. they got screenshots sent by a different party. so not only is there no ACTUAL context or explanation, but they didn't even have any experience themselves.

I think this is extremely unprofessionally handled for an "exposing" account.
PART 4
I am by NO MEANS saying the actions we've done, that made people uncomfortable without our knowledge, are valid. But I am trying to tell you to reach out, we are a very welcoming and understanding community. we listen, we change, we improve.
But I'm also saying that we do not force you to interact with our community if you don't feel comfortable with how we act. I highly suggest you don't interact with us if this is the case. yes, we will listen to feedback, but we still have dorky crude humor.
Also I literally have an introduction which says "if I make you uncomfortable, please tell me"

PART 5
I would like to inform everyone reading this that we have already discussed this situation and made changes and improvements.
we decided to change the age limit to only people of 14 and above. We've also decided the "freaky channel" (actual name) can only be accessible by asking the owner or moderators, we have age roles to check who's allowed in or not. (were not gonna ask for a fucking ID that's wild)
We also decided to make the channels; "cosplay" and "face rev" private and only accessible if you've been in the server for longer than a month (we manually check this) to provide more privacy.
We will not be kicking any adults out of our server, Bully is a game from the 2000s, ofcourse it has fans that are adults now. Plus, Bully itself has mature humor, sexual topics, and more. (again, not justifying weird behavior)

Thinks about how Jimmy rubbed off on Pete, and Pete started making snide comments about other students and started to defend himself more, may or may not be for the fact he knew he had a technical bodyguard??, because of Jimmy's influence (favorite one off line Pete says, "a haircut? A big, strong man to cuddle up to? Who knows.")
But also, maybe because Pete wants Jimmy to like him, considering he's kind of his only friend there anymore, especially with Gary gone. Changing personalities so specific people will like you because of your insecurities,,,, me😔
