ok heres a proper post on the pedophillia in Lucky Star since my mutuals didnt know about it:
These are some lyrics taken from “Motteke! Sailor Fuku!”, the lucky star opening, which sexualizes the bodies of teenage girls and how short their skirts are. The translation differs depending on the website but it’s all more or less the same thing.
Lucky Star has more pedophilia within the show itself, the biggest example I can give you other than the opening is Konata’s dad, Sojiro, being a pedophile. His character is centered around the “joke” about him being into little girls, which was why he fell in love with Konata’s mom.
The series tries to give the excuse that “he’s into average women too, therefore, he’s not a pedophile” which obviously doesn’t make sense. He’s even seen looking at young girls in the opening.
I realize this isn’t common knowledge and most people probably don’t actually remember anything about lucky star but it’s still gross and tiring to see the meme every single Thursday
