The reason Mihashi is such good speech impairment and autism rep is that he isn’t liked by everyone. A lot of people get really irritated and frustrated when they try to communicate with him. He needs a lot of extra effort from those around him. And oofuri reiterates every time that he is worth that effort. That he deserves patience and the willingness of his teammates to meet him halfway. His accommodations are important and it is never questioned that he should get them

working on the second chapter of my oofuri fic and just,,,oughhh,,,, abe and mihashi affirming one another is one thing. but something about mihashi promising abe that he will never be his haruna (and abe swearing to never be his hatake) is getting me right in the feelings this evening
