I would never consider such a Halloween combo because the implication Jack would dress as the vampire occupied my mind for a while. But thanks to you anon I can picture Jack and Chase as vampires and Omi as their adorable bat sibling/son!
Jack: And remember cheeseball. Tell them you'll drink their blood! Assert dominance as the king of this night! Be today's Halloween god!
Chase: Show no mercy, little one!
Omi: Ok! (goes to the nearest trick-or-treater group) Can I drink your blood, please?

Finally attempted a sort character study on Chase “Clay is possessed he doesn’t count, Evil Omi chose this though” Young. Featuring said adorable evil Omi, as well as Jack Spicer, boy genius.
I find it interesting how Omi was legit able to guess/figure out the reason Jack is evil in The Apprentice. He really hit the mark, even to Jack's surprise.
Does that make Omi a level 5 friend of Jacks? Omi secretly leveling up without anyone knowing!
Omi's quite observant, isn't he? I am in awe of how much understanding is between these two. As anon mentioned, Omi in that particular showdown had read Jack as an open book. But if we consider the series as a whole, Jack displays a similar tendency to understand Omi! If no one's there to correct Omi's mix-ups, Jack is ready to lend a hand... only to trick Omi and go for the wu. Only if Jack was more open-minded and less of a jerk oh boy what an awesome duo they could've been! They already click together! They mock each other as if they were quarreling siblings! They are my special boys and I would love to see their frenemy dynamic strengthen. For example, it would be best for both sides to keep up their rivalry in showdowns but maintain friendship outside Xiaolin-Heylin conflict.

Oh my, (crying out of joy) Yes, Omi is a level 5 friend!!! But I imagine, Jack would be in denial most of the time and if Omi kept on insisting, Jack would come up with more excuses to prove they're not friends xD
To illustrate, this would turn out like this
Jack: You have to be at least level 5 to be my favorite frenemy.
Omi: Alright, what level am I?
Jack, trying to be mysterious: Wouldn't you like to know, cheeseball?
Omi, displaying his 'not amused' face: ... That was very un-nice from you, jack Spicer. I am indeed disappointed.
Jack, actually feeling bad: Ok, you're a 4.99 level! Now let me be!
Omi, gasping happily: Wowie! How can I earn that fraction to level up?
Jack, half-jokingly: idk fetch me some pudding or something.
Omi, using extra speed and returning with a pudding: I have the snack you asked for! Will you be my friend, now!?
Jack: No. There was only a vacant for a FRENEMY POSITION, Omi. I would never be your friend!
Omi, making puppy eyes: Theeeeeeeeen, are we frenemies? :D
Jack, sheepishly: erm yeah I guess!? Rules are rules... - wait NO! I'm evil! And we're done talking I have some evil to do!
Omi, his smile fading revealing a great sorrow: Don't forget your puddi, then.
Jack, snapping angrily the puddi out of Omi's hands: Bye!
Jack, turning back in mid-way to take a peek at the sad cheeseball: ... You know what? Maybe if you reach level 6 I could RECONSIDER your offer. I may be evil but sometimes I do keep my promises.
Omi, cheering up slightly: Oh! I would be moostly glad! :D
Jack, smiling: Then we have a deal.
What I'm trying to say, Jack can react in a tsundere way each time Omi is nice to him. I think I conveyed it quite clearly!
So I blame @grasshopperdoingdogpaddle and @standinghereirealized for the travesty I am about to unleash on the Xiaolin Showdown fandom.
@grasshopperdoingdogpaddle has amazing stories on ao3 and excellent commentary here on tumblr.
@standinghereirealized also has equally good commentary and excellent art here on tumblr.
And it's been falling down the rabbit hole of the quality you two regularly produce that gave me this idea.
Yes, I plan on writing a series of drabbles due to @writerkatsblog , whitepetal123 and as_pure_as_melody on ao3. But those will be largely canon.
This horrendously fun au is a crossover between Coraline and Xiaolin Showdown. I won't say more at this time, but I firmly blame @grasshopperdoingdogpaddle and @standinghereirealized . And I thank you, because it's been a while since writing a story has made me smile so much.
Ever think about the fact that Omi's probably the only person who's ever told Jack Spicer that he sincerely believed in him and openly expressed that he wanted him around?
He almost definitely was!
Omi's pretty unique in complimenting Jack without any qualifiers and doing things like petting him or trying hug him.
And Jack gets so openly flustered for a second after the Showdown confirms that Omi was always sincere in believing him and reaching out to him, he really had no idea how to react.
He definitely seems like he's not used to things like that.
He and Omi seem a little similar in that they self-aggrandize but don't get much affection or recognition from those around them. Which is probably why Omi was able to outright psychoanalyze Jack in a way Omi hasn't done with anyone else in the show (except sort of Chase? But Omi and Chase are constantly, mutually trying to psychoanalyze each other, and they both wear those similarities proudly on their sleeves). Omi's just built up his self-confidence and self-love in the absence of getting any from anyone else for long much better than Jack seems to have managed so far.
