Jack wasn't the best with words. He knew there was something, some feeling he had for you. He wasn't sure how to describe it, this ache he felt, this... hunger. It was like when he ran, an adrenaline rush, almost like a craving. He just couldn't get enough of you, of your time, of your company.

There's an urge, a desire to keep you close. To protect you, even though he knows you can take care of yourself. It's what he admires about you, your heart, your dedication. There's so much he could say, yet he doesn't speak, unspoken words held tight to his chest.

It's raining out, sky dark and water pouring. People do their best to shield themselves, running for the nearest shelter. He notices you as he walks by, standing under the entrance of a local restaurant. You didn't have a jacket or umbrella, shivering as you tried to keep warm.

He moves on instinct, pulling off his jacket as he walks towards you. He made sure to leave with a jacket and umbrella this morning, having heard the weather was gonna be bad. The last thing he wanted was for you to get sick, startling you as he placed his jacket over your shoulders.

"Here." he says, staying close to provide extra warmth. The tips of his ears turned red as you realized it was him, your face lighting up in that smile he's come to adore. His tail wagged lightly as he told you to follow him, making sure you under his umbrella.

Water flowed down the street as the rain came down heavier, each of you running to get home. He was careful to make sure you didn't slip, each of laughing as water splashed beneath your feet. Like the rain, his feelings for you were overflowing, bursting with love and adoration.

He never wants it to stop ♡
