All of Westeros had heard the tales of Rhaegor Targaryen, the Ruined Prince. The second of the three sons born under Baelon and Alyssa Targaryen. The once charming, passionate, and devoted young man grew into a cold, reckless, and drunken fool. It was declared by many he was destined for greatness, to be the noble and honorable Hand to his brother and King, Viserys. But like all Targaryens, tragedy ran deep in their blood. He was cursed at the mere age of one-and-twenty when he lost his dear wife and unborn baby in childbirth. It was then the prince changed the course of his fate. Rhaegor resigned his position of the Royal Hand to the King, relinquished his claim to the Iron Throne, and sworn an oath to himself to never remarry or bear an heir. He claimed heād rather let his lineage die out than to relive the horror of a loved one dead in his arms. Since then, no one has heard or seen the Ruined Prince since. Some say he may have fled to the North to be one with the cold, or hidden in the brothel to drown his sorrows somewhere South towards the sea. The only certainty people had was that Rhaegor Targaryen did not want to be found.
Not a soul outside of the palace walls knew the name of Korinna nor should they. She wasnāt someone worthy of knowing as she was not born into royalty, shared a centuries old bloodline, or had dragons at her command. No, she was a nobody. A simple handmaiden to the Queen, Aemma Targaryen, since she was old enough to have bled. Though a servant she may be, her presence hadnāt gone unnoticed by her queen. Aemma had grown quite fond of the girl over the years. She had granted Korinna the role as head servant, a position one of the young girlās status and age could only dream to achieve. Yet, even with her new position, Korinna happily remained in the shadows of the Red Keep where she belonged. No woman of her standing wouldāve preferred to be placed anywhere else. As it should be.
Then, the crossroads of fate and destiny intervened.
The Ruined Prince had only returned to Kingās Landing after eight, long years of solitude out of support for the birth of Viserys and Aemmaās presumed male heir.Ā What made him stay was the beautiful and poised woman with hair of dragon fire who wanted absolutely nothing to do with him.

oops another oc :: elinor tully hightower the forsaken vow
ELINOR HIGHTOWER has sworn too many vows in her life for someone so young. Sheās sworn to be faithful to her husband, sworn to obey the crown and future heir of the Iron throne, sworn to be dutiful and poised and a perfect lady at every turn.
but Elinor Hightower was once ELINOR TULLY, a precocious girl of five and ten who was all too excited to attend a tourney at her Uncleās castle at Harrhenhall, a beauty with dreams hidden in her fiery red hair and an unfortunate resemblance to the newly late wife of Ser Otto Hightower, who was participating in said Tourney.
There was little she could do once she had been named the Queen of Love and Beauty, and not even the loud protests of Ser Ottoās daughter were enough to deter Elinorās father nor the man himself from arranging the betrothal and the wedding soon after.
And so Elinor Tully was no more, instead Elinor Hightower remained, a poor shell of the girl she had once been and only five years older than her now stepdaughter. Barely able to experience the life that was promised to her, a life with no courtly expectations or pressure from above, but thatās all ripped from her the moment she arrives in Kingās Landing.
But even in confinement, Elinor isnāt quite as defanged as her husband would have hoped. Instead she finds comfort and solace in the dragon prince himself, Daemon Targaryen, a victim of circumstance much like herself, even if those circumstances couldnāt be more different.
But the world around her changes as quickly as the leaves from the heart tree fall, and when Rhaenyra Targaryen is named heir in the wake of Prince Daemonās exile, a series of events that Elinor never could have foreseen occurs, and somehow she is directly in the center of it all.
