I understand this is supposed to be Very Cool(™) but I'm laughing because it's just serving this vibe for me:
I can't take it seriously. The man's like 5'5", and the hand that is off-screen is probably shaking.
Has Aventurine killed people and is he perfectly capable of killing again? Yes.
Is his personality in my head the fictional equivalent of a red panda rearing up on its back legs to try to look big and scary? Also yes.
