This has been bopping around in my head since the kiss prompts so this is my take on

Bloody Kiss, Stec & Fordo

He could feel his breaths wheezing but that didn't stop him from keeping his Tat'ika curled against his chest. Stec tilted his head back against the wall of debris he was leaned against. He'd taken stock of his injuries once he woke up and cursed the fact that a surely broken leg along with some ribs would have made digging themselves out harder, but not impossible.

Checking Fordo over had led to a similar stream of curses at the cracked armor and sizable head wound on his twin's head that definitely was keeping him knocked out.

Stec sighed and tilted his head to stare at the sliver of light that peeked through the debris. With any luck the rest of their squad escaped and would dig them out.

He clutched Fordo closer when the younger Alpha coughed- the dust making it rougher on his throat, Stec thought- and leaned down just enough to press a kiss to blood soaked curls.

"It's alright, vod'ika," Stec pressed another kiss to Fordo's hair before settling back against the wall, "Your boys will get us out of here in no time."

Although he didn't say it aloud, Stec silently pledged to himself as he ran tried fingers through Fordo's hair.

If they don't, I'll break every finger if it means getting you out of here.
