I’m so sorry this isn’t a new post but I just wanted to let you guys know that I am going on a hiatus! (That exclamation mark is not meant to be happy LMAOO).
I’ve been really busy with life and college and moving and my motivation for writing as well as my effort I put into it has just gone wayyy down. I don’t want to put out anything that’s just absolute trash, so I think going on a break (again) is the best thing to do.
I don’t know when I’ll be back, but until then! See you later! Love you all for the support! <3333
(I’ll still do my best to reply to any messages though, so feel free to drop by anytime! <3)
Aaaa so I actually have a few requests that have been sitting in my drafts… collecting dust… for a while now and uh I have finally worked up the courage and determination to finish them! I just finished one now, and it will be up tomorrow cuz I’m too tired rn lmao
I just couldn’t stay away from writing for so long and my break was a big help, so I’ll do my best to get back into the swing of things! Thank you all so much for the patience! ♥️♥️♥️

TW: Abortion and the mentions of: rape, incest, abuse, death
As a woman who lives in Texas, I am so appalled at the direction our state government is taking us.
Abortions are important to womens’ health for so many reasons. It allows rape victims (incest or otherwise) a choice in the aftermath. It saves the lives of women who cannot carry to term (for whatever reason). It allows women to have a future, because sometimes we just can’t afford a child - there’s so many women who had a child young and struggled because of it.
It gives women a choice. Just because a woman consents to sex doesn’t mean she consents to carry that individuals’ child - for any reason.
We are regressing, and it is dangerous. If women can’t get an abortion through legal, sterile methods - abortion clinics and hospitals - then they will go elsewhere. Banning abortions will only end with more women and unborn children dead, because they will find a way - either by ‘back-alley doctors’ in unsanitary conditions, through overdosing on drugs or alcohol, or physically damaging their bodies in other ways to force a miscarriage.
Our country is too focused on the unborn and not on the living. They are forcing women to carry children they do not want - and then, once the child is born, they leave the women and children to their own devices. “You should have kept your legs closed,” they say. “You should have planned for this,” they sneer.
“It’s your fault,” they say.
Our country forces women to give birth and then looks down on them for doing exactly what they were forced to do. We don’t have enough social nets to help these people in their forced situations - oh no, that’s communism, that’s socialism, and we’re capitalist. Bootstraps and scraps, you should be able to make it work - they did it after all. (But that’s our economic troubles, which is another basket of awful that I could soapbox about too).
Women do not deserve to be forced into carrying children they do not want - for whatever reason it is they do not want the child. Adoption is a laughable option; again, our social nets are shit. According to this website, there are 950 children waiting for adoption in Texas alone. This website lists siblings jointly, though, so that number is actually much higher - 104 of the 950 have at least two individuals listed (so, if we’re counting, that’s at least 1,054 children) that are waiting to be adopted right now.
Forcing children to live in group homes, in foster homes, because you want to punish women for enjoying sex just like men do is despicable. Children should be born into families that want them, not into homes that are forced to hopefully, best-case-scenario, love and care for them.
Worst case, they’ll be abused - in any form and fashion of the word - or killed.
I’ve gone on a rant, and I’ll close it up here with this: They are focusing way too hard on the life of these unborn children. They need to focus on the quality of life they are giving, instead. The ones who seek abortions are the ones who know, one way or another, that the childs’ quality of life will not be enough. These women are making a huge, painful, life-altering choice to terminate their child because they know that the child will not have a good life with them. That is responsible, and we should not punish women for taking control and responsibility of their life.
We should never take away anyones choice.

Abortion rights are under attack, and it’s time to fight back.
If you think this is just about Texas or ‘red’ states, you’re wrong. Attacks on abortion anywhere are a threat to our rights everywhere. Today Texas’ SB8 takes effect. This dangerous and extreme law bans abortion as early as six weeks (way before most people even know they’re pregnant) and includes an unprecedent provision that allows private individuals - including anti-abortion protestors - to file lawsuits enforcing the bans. There’s even a monetary reward - up to $10,000 - for successful lawsuits. There have been over 90 abortion restrictions enacted this year alone - more than any year since Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973. It’s time to raise the alarm - keep #bansoffourbodies. What can you do?
