Fun-fact Friday

Several areas and biomes throughout Niutéah are filled with giant stone pillars and buttes, some are large enough to support entire ecosystems of their own, almost like islands among a sea of clouds

One of these stone pillar regions is large enough to contain an entire nation, Kahéa. There’s also Kyizhé’konné but it’s land is primarily mesa

Funfact Friday!

Niutéah has a thin ring left from it’s formation, the only thing that’s kept it together for so long has been nia (which I really need to explain) within and around the rocks

Okay, So Its Time I Explain Niattics.

Okay, so it’s time I explain niattics.

Nia are small spark-like particles, usually in various shades of blue, though they also give quick flickers of other colors.

Nearly everything in and around Niutéah is filled with nia, it even runs through the blood of the Téoloni!

The most important aspect of niattics are it’s capabilities, nia is able to amplify and/or control all sorts of natural phenomena, for instance animals often focus heavy amounts of nia into a part of their body for a quick boost in strength, or someone could even manipulate the wind

Nia also has various frequencies of energy, being able to be tuned into specific systems or networks.

Fun fact Friday!

The island nation Olshi’anbo is home to a tree species with fermented bark. It’s supposed to ward off and immobilize wood eating bugs, however the bark is also a popular additive to Olshi’anbin drinks.

Double FFF!!!!!

Téoloni and several other Niutéhian species have offspring through a mix of live birth and eggs, initially giving birth to a little bud that later opens up and develops into a full babeh!

Niutéah’s smallest moon is named Anido, it’s the 5th (out of six) moon in terms of orbital distance

Fun fact Friday

You can often see the glow of a Téoloni’s nia shimmer across their skin right before they use or expel it.

For example, in a dark room, if someone were to gather their own nia onto their palm you’d see some of it traveling through their arm, temporarily giving their skin a starry effect.

Fun Fact Friday/Lore Rant

The skin tones and feather colors of a Téoloni are supernaturally determined by the land they and their ancestors originate from.

For example, people from dessert regions will most likely have orange or sandy brown patterns with lighter feather colors while those from mountainous regions, like Nao, will have grey or tree bark-colored patterns with darker feathers, resembling the darker shades of conifer needles. The base skin color is usually based off of the most common color of plants in a region.

I’ve also been wondering if their skin tones would be determined by the amount of sunlight in a region, like humans and the amount of melanin in our skin. Would they have a similar method of dealing with solar radiation or would the nia in their body channel and carry out the unwanted energy hitting their skin?

Fun fact friday

Steam locomotives are still incredibly common along Niutéhian railroads, in fact they’ve undergone all sorts of changes to make them more efficient and safe.

So no more crown-sheet failure, yipeeee!
