Night on the Galactic Railroad

This anime adaptation of the classic Japanese children’s book by the same name is such an underrated gem. It gives me the same sense of wonder as a Studio Ghibli film, but has a slower, more melancholy note, full of liminal imagery and meditations on life and death. It’s one I rewatch periodically and makes me cry a little every time.

I spent a very long time and by very long I made a couple hours thinking about the subway twins you know You know how Ingo Will die before he ever will get to meet Emmet again. What if when he dies Emmet and him board the intergalactic railroad?

Ingo Knowing that he is dead but cannot tell his twin because he doesn't want to frighten Emmet.

(this post is for all of the two people have seen midnight on the intergalactic railroad and really enjoy the subway twins)
