Short description:

A fellow first-year student to the main character and from the Savannaclaw dormitory. Despite her rather small and petite frame, she’s actually rather ludicrously strong and very much capable of beating down groups of people on her own. Her eyes are constantly closed though no one knows for sure if she’s actually blind.

Personality:

Lala is quite a confident and proud type of person, having full faith in herself and what she can do. She doesn’t lose optimism in her own abilities despite her size and circumstances, and thus encourages others to be the same otherwise it would be really pathetic. She can be really polite and calm to be honest, but mostly reserves it for first or important meetings since by the next time they meet, surely they would already know how she acts correct? As you can already kind of tell, Lala is also a bit condescending but isn’t openly boastful; it’s just how she was raised to believe/be like back home… though that and she’s a really honest person who holds nothing back. That’s not to say that she isn’t hard-working, no no no; she most usually does all of her tasks diligently and putting all of her intelligence to the task… though… she can be rather lazy at times too….

She is also actually really playful and a bit childish since she doesn’t like being bored, her usual modus operandi is sneaking up on them from behind before going in for the kill, ie. tackling them or roaring loudly at them. Lala’s an approachable and good listener, it’s just that she thinks any issues is simply hogwash and prefers to simply tackle it head-on. However, it doesn’t mean she’s stupid; on the contrary, if and when she decides on something she wants then she’ll take any measures to make sure she has it— she’s a really determined person. She can also be rather sweet and thoughtful, doing anything for someone she likes or needs help, and even supporting others in what they want.

Despite her seemingly preppy and a bit of a “subdued” troublemaker personality, there are times when she can become quite violent and blood-hungry. She considers herself to be an “apex predator” so anyone that tries to mock her will get beaten up badly— only enough that they get sent to the infirmary with a few broken bones. Lala’s not above using her small frame as an advantage point in a fight, either by catching the opponent off-guard or something. When she gets actually angry, everyone better run as fast and as far as possible or the person who angered her better quickly beg for their life and apologise; after all, she’s not above using force in her everyday life, what would one think she would use/do to someone she doesn’t like?

Trivia:

While she is twisted from Shere Khan from the Jungle Book and IS a Bengal tiger, she is a “white/bleached tiger”, which is a pigmentation variant of the Bengal tiger.

Her first name [Lala-Phula] means “red flower” in Punjabi, which is a reference to how fire is called in the original Jungle Book literature series and is the thing that many animals, especially Shere Khan, feared the most.

Her last name, [Tigris], means “tiger” in Ancient Greek, which in of itself was adapted from Old Persian [Tigra], itself from Elamite [Tigra], itself from Sumerian [Indigna]/[Indigina].
