Okay I stg I am working on the guardians fanfic and thanks to everyone who left a like and/or comment (seriously you guys are so sweet I swear the actual chapter will be better than that draft), but my love for the relationship between Ellie and Wade (aka Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Deadpool) in the comics has struck me and I was wondering if anyone would maybe be interested in seeing a fanfic based around the films but with some more comic inspo (so Ellie and Yukio will draw a little more on their comic counterparts, but still be recognisable as the film versions), except Ellie and Wade first meet in the Mutant Workshop and become ride-or-die pals while Yukio is Colussus’ X-Men apprentice?
(There will still be plenty of Nukio, don’t worry I stan the first canon gay superhero couple too. But this would also allow Yukio to have more character development which would honestly be good IMO. Also I might cut out the Asian rebel streaks bc that was a random and unnecessary change but I might not we’ll see how closely I wanna stick to canon here)

Notes: Basically I love Wade and Ellie’s ride or die dynamic in the comics and its seriously lacking in the films, so I want to rewrite the films to include that dynamic. Also Yukio would replace Ellie as Colossus’ apprentice, which means that she gets more characterization and we get more young lesbian antics.

🐶🚗Finally saw Deadpool and Wolverine today and it was epic! With fun cameos, amazing fight scenes, incredible performances and a badass use of Like a prayer, it might be my favorite in the trilogy.
So glad I saw it despite the spoilers, it's already in the list of my favorite movies this year!🚗🐶

suburban neighbors AU
I want to do an AU where Wade moves into a gated community and spots his new neighbor outside, drinking beer and mowing his lawn in a sweaty tank top and booty shorts; and the little old ladies across the street sees him gawking and pulls Wade aside to tell him Logan is the resident homewrecker, like he's broken up two marriages already (Jean and Scott and Eric and Charles). None can withstand his slutty ways, so he should stay away if he wants to survive with his relationships intact. Wade's like, "well, lucky for him, I am painfully single."
Basically, I just want to write Logan being so unintentionally sexy that he wrecks marriages with his mere existence in the vanilla-ass suburbs and Wade simping for him and talking through his weird feelings with his walking group gal pals whose average age is 68 years young. Yes, Al is in that walking group and she fucking hates listening to him talk about his man crush but there are no other walking groups in the neighborhood and she was there first.
“Are you ok?”
“No,” Wade was shaking from head to toe, “I went over there to yell at him for blocking our shared driveway, but he answered the door in a slutty little towel and I think I blacked out.”
Ellie raised an eyebrow. “Did you really?”
“Either that or I asked to suck his cock,” He poured himself a tall glass of water from the tap and gulped it down. Wade wiped his mouth on the back of a hand and exhaled, “God, I hope it was the former.”
Loud aggressive banging came from the front door then.
“Shit.”
“Yeah, I’d put my money on the verbal sexual harassment. Want me to grab my baseball bat?”
“What am I gonna do with your baseball bat?”

Ryan Reynolds Deadpool movie took various shots at Green Lantern during its runtime. It ended up falling victim to a trope started by the very property it was mocking. I find that hysterical. Overall it was the most fun I’ve had the movies in a long time. I highly recommend it!
