You continued your walk when a loud groan was heard by the both of you, you turned around seeing two very intoxicated men "can we help you?" Namjoon complete hid you behind him, he could hear your shaking breath "please leave us alone, " namjoon didn't want to get violent but was scared he would have to. One of the men grabbed namjoon by his collar shouting nonsense until namjoon pushed him off making the man fall to the ground, the other man swung a broken beer in the air making namjoon grab you pulling you away quick enough to where none of you got hit, "baby, run" namjoon said making your eyes water "no- namjoon i-" he heard the man groan and get back up "ill find you just go, go hind" he said giving you a slight push.
You began to run and found a place to hid in a bush, you waited and started silently crying until you heard footsteps against the grass but then stopped, the bush you hid in rattled as the leaves were pulled to the side revealing you're curled up figure and namjoon above you, "y/n" he smiled lifting you out of the bush. He took a glance seeing a hybrid, it was a dog hybrid that he thought looked around the same age as him maybe a year or two younger at the most, it was a dog hybrid with no home. And that was you, beaten and bleeding, soaked from the rain "are you ok? You look hurt" namjoon bent down placing a hand on your shoulder which you quickly pushed off. "I-i swear I'm not going to hurt you, I want to help" you turned your head away, he saw through your cold expression though and saw the fear and anxiety built up. He took a look at you again seeing your leg bent in an odd way which meant it was probably broken "have you been walking around with an injured leg? Your quit thin as well have you eaten"

While you were wrapped around him you couldn't help but doze off to sleep, when you woke up you were alone somewhere unfamiliar in a soft bed. It had many plushes of an orange/yellow bear and it was a nice room, you began to over here two voices coming from the other side "sir please let her stay, she can stay in the same room as me, wear my clothes just, please! Get her a doctor and allow her to stay here. She feels so important to me..." Was he talking about you "she can stay here, ill have to see into getting her a doctor soon, but she won't have to wear your clothes for long you can take her shopping next week for clothes but she will have to share the same room as you" it sounded like an older mans voice "thank you so much, sir, "

Namjoon looked up from his book once again to look at the clock as a growl passed his lips, it had been another 30 minutes passed the time you were supposed to be home. His eyes flinched hearing the doorknob shake and quickly made his way to the door. "Y/n- oh God what happened?" He asked seeing you walk in with crutches "hey joonie, nothing I just slipped down the stairs during work today, sorry I'm home so late" you said grabbing his face to make him lean down so you could press a kiss onto his forehead. Namjoon suddenly picked you up off the floor into the air "you're so clumsy, you should have called me I was worried sick" he laid you down on the couch and leaned down next to the couch on his knees placing his head on your chest hearing your steady heartbeat. You sighed taking out your phone seeing a notification from your boss "my boss just texted me" you said "well i hope he knows he won't be taking you for any shifts will your hurt" you let out a huff "don't worry joon i won't be going to work for at least two weeks" you heard him mumble a little 'good' you never really liked to show when you were hurt around namjoon because he always got a little possessive and protective of you but you knew he only did it because he cared. "Oh Joon i have a doctor coming over tomorrow to check on my leg ok?" He nodded.
You yawned before hitting my alarm and turning over to joon to shake him awake "hey baby, wake up, it time to get up the doctors supposed to be here soon" he groans before sitting up and pressing a kiss on your lips "good morning sweetheart" he smiles. We both start getting ready while namjoon helps me a little despite my protest, but the good thing about this is that he didn't like you walking much so you got free piggyback rides all the time. He sat you down at the table and got up to prepare breakfast, he brought set a pan of packets as he sat down To eat with you.
After a few hours of sitting on the couch with namjoon, the doorbell rang "I'll get it" namjoon said getting off the couch. "Hello, is this y/n l/n house?" The doctor asked namjoons ears stood straight up as if he was a threat, "yes come right in" he said moving aside leading him to the living room. "Hello, im here to take a look at your leg" he said. The doctor started to examine your leg moving it a little while namjoon watched, the doctor straightened your leg out a little making you hiss in pain "hey, be careful" namjoom growled, "sorry, i didn't mean to" namjoon still growled standing next to you, you were able to catch his eyes and pulled him down onto the couch next to you and placed his head on your shoulder petting him as a way to tell him to calm down. The doctor let go of your leg placing it back down, "after about a week of resting it i recommend physical therapy" he said handing you a card "i will be able to go in with her, right" the doctor nodded and namjoon showed him to the door.
"I'll wrap your leg again," he said leaning in front of you, you giggled a little "what's so funny?" He asked perking up his ears. "Why are you so protective lately?" You ask, he pressed a kiss in your knee before looking up at you "because i love you"

It's been a few weeks since you took in your hybrid named namjoon. You couldn't say you adopted him, no you didn't get him from the shelter you got him from the woods.
He had been left by his pack after being seriously injured, he had laid there all alone starved and hurt until you found him. It took a while to convince him you weren't going to try and hurt him and just wanted to help before you could bring him home but he eventually agreed. You took him home and gave him a bath, food, and a place to sleep.
Since then namjoon has become quite fond of you. I mean he hadn't a choice anyways when you offered to help him reunite with his pack he shook his head and explained that they would smell human on him and disown him not just that but off him.
One thing you had taught him was how to read, he picked it up quite fast and decided to research about humans as much as possible. He did have one as a mate after all. "Namjoon!
