summary: in which jay decided to end the relationship since it’s no good.

“let’s end this, y/n.” jay softly said. you didn’t reply but quietly stared at the sunset in-front of of you guys. “i don’t think it’s not working anymore.” he continued as he averted his gaze on the sunset and stared at you.

“it’s not working? or you just lost your feelings?” you asked him in a bluntly tone. jay looked down and remained silent, he don’t know what to reply. maybe the relationship was okay and maybe he just lost his feelings.

you continued when you only received a silent reply, “if you want to end this then fine let’s end it. i don’t want to force you to always love me anyway“ you want to cry but you don’t want to show emotion in-front of him.

jay was your first love, the first guy you truly loved.

“i’m sorry, y/n.” he shakily said. you chuckled quietly and stared at him. “why..? i think i’m the who should say sorry.” jay looked at you to see that you are already looking at him with teary eyes.

“since…. i didn’t give you the love you wanted and I didn’t put efforts… so, i don’t blame you for losing feelings for me. i will never blame you because that’s the way i love you..” you said, trying your best not to show emotions. you tried your best not to look weak in front of him.

jay parted his lips slightly, it’s hurting him seeing you like this. you gently putted your hand on his head. “thank you for loving me, jongseong.” you whispered as tears were already running down on your cheeks.

“y/n….” jay said as he was about to wipe your tears but you stopped him. you gave him a sincerely smile, the smile the you always gave him every-time.

you wiped your tears and stood up. “jongseong, thank you for everything and I will forever cherish our memories.”

jay smiled slightly and nodded, “Thank you too, y/n. you will be my greatest love.” He replied as the wind softly blew through both of your hair gently.
