Hollow knight has to be my favorite game of all time.
I used to hate bugs, but beetles have become one of my favorite animals of all time since I played the game in 2019 or 2020. Some of my favorite memories are of hollow knight.
Spending hours upon hours trying to beat hornet1, happily learning from my mistakes each time.
Crying after the fight with broken vessel, not understanding anything other than that was the player character’s sibling, and their brief life was cut short.
Vibing in the white lady’s chamber with her calming theme.
Spending far too long watching mossbag and other lore YouTubers with peek interest.
Memorizing hollow knight lore, ready to dump it in anyone.
Spending an entire vacation developing a character in a sketchbook and filling 2 large sheets of paper with her lore.
Laughing with the dung defender’s boss fight and the hilarious imagery of being beat up with piles of poop.
Freaking the hell out at seeing another me in deepnest.
And. Way more than I can recount.
The only thing that could take hollow knight’s place is Silksong, but we don’t know when it’ll come out.
Here’s to hollow knight, a wonderful game that made my lonely childhood a better place.

Hello! This is HetNacho, I’m a seventeen year old aro/ace gremlin with an extremely unhealthy obsession with Cross Xtale and Ratchet transformers.
I do art, ramble, and mostly just have rabid responses to rottmnt, the undertale community and the multiverse it has, along with basically anything that is specifically, as I mentioned before, cross. He’s my favorite.
My main blog is @drake-atello , where I don’t update much, though you may catch me going insane in comments.

Cross is extremely mentally unstable, I think we can see that.
Not to mention, not enough people seem to cover the other half of his personality that’s the main focus of season 1 of underverse.
Cross… isn’t the brightest.
His main goal of season 1 was to combine bits and pieces of code to make his au again. Sounds okay in theory, to the average person, but here’s the issue.
It was never going to work.
We have data from underfell and underswap. Let’s call these two pieces of code “Shooter” and “cozy”.
Now, programmers would know that code is a finicky thing. It’s very sensitive and the slightest thing wrong can break everything. And if the code isn’t efficient enough, it could cause the entire game to slow down and have bad performance, as people saw with the infamous case of yandere simulator’s code.
You can’t really copy and paste code unless it’s for a very specific thing.
What cross tried to do was combine codes “Shooter” and “cozy” to make “home.”
It’s like putting two pieces from different puzzles together. He put dating simulator code into a metroidvania game. It was never going to work. Cross didn’t even have the overwrite button to change the code to fit his standards like a programmer could change their code to eliminate bugs.
The plan was a failure from the start.
People always give cross a clever, battle strategist mind, making him a battle commander and having him make plans for fights.
Cross could never do that.
Cross, fundamentally, is a soldier. He never was programmed to be a strategist, to be a great mind. He’s build for fighting, and that’s it. Just fighting. He can tank hits just fine and dish them back, but he can’t find a clever way to incapacitate the enemy other than brute force.

Cross and killer would not be a good couple and shouldn’t be together.
Like, no.
I’ve already established that killer has negative rizz in a previous post, and even if he did it wouldn’t be good.
A lot of depictions of Kross have killer be extremely pushy and forceful, urging cross to do things he doesn’t want to, with cross more often than not doing what he was being pushed into doing. Yes, cross is easy to manipulate and that’s part of his character, but it’s not good for him. Not to mention killer is often just an asshole. A lot of the time his “courtship” attempts are just being a bitch and making others uncomfortable with lewd comments and suggestions.
Long story short, killer’s puzzle pieces don’t fit with cross’ pieces. They’re being jammed together, in my opinion.
I HAVE A SERIOUS QUESTION CONCERNING MY BOY
Is cross scared of cows in general, or just the patterns of the typical cartoon cow? Or a specific gender?
When people put cross in a bovine situation, the cows always look the same. White with black spots and female. I honestly have never seen cross be put with cows of any other size, shape, gender, or pattern than the stereotypical cow.
How does he feel about miniature cows? About bulls, or other patterns?
The logical conclusion would be “yes, all cows”, but with how generic and base level every cow he’s been shoved against is, its hard to say for certain.
I want to see more variety with the cows cross is to be tormented with. Let the man be terrified by a tiny little teacup cow, I want to see it.

Well, this sucks.
I'm really sorry this is happening to you, and I fully understand if you want to leave.
Though, if you feel comfortable with it, would you ever consider releasing the scripts for the rest of the series? You obviously don't have to, but I think it’d be nice to give your supporters the closure they’re hoping for. Again, not nescesarry, but it you ever feel like you want to, we would love for you to do so.

ENGLISH: Underverse 0.8 part 1 might be the last Underverse episode I publish. I'm done with the toxicity, the hypocrisy, and the bias. I give up trying to explain that I'm not a monster, I just wanted to have fun with a video game that made me happy. I'm not sure if I'll come back or want to make content on YouTube anymore, I'll have to take a long break after this, find another job, I don't know, stay ayaw from all this. Every year, it's the same thing, and I don't feel comfortable in this fandom anymore. I'm not mentally okay. I'm done pretending all this hate is not affecting me. Maybe if I step aside, these people will get the attention they've been wishing for, since there won't be that person and her work they hate so much. They feel I shouldn't have gotten an opportunity in the first place and that they could've done way better, as if this fandom were a competition. Me rindo tratando de explicar que no soy un monstruo, solo quería divertirme con un videojuego que me hacía feliz. No estoy segura si volveré o si querré hacer contenido en YouTube nuevamente. Tendré que tomarme un largo descanso después de esto, buscar otro trabajo, no sé, alejarme de todo esto.
Cada año es lo mismo, y ya no me siento cómoda en este fandom. No estoy bien mentalmente. Estoy cansada de fingir que todo este odio no me afecta.
Tal vez si me hago a un lado, estas personas obtendrán la atención que tanto han deseado, ya que no estará esa persona y su trabajo que tanto odian, que sienten que no debería haber tenido una oportunidad en primer lugar y que podrían haberlo hecho mucho mejor, como si este fandom se tratase de una competencia. O simplemente encontrarán otro objetivo para convertir en un paria.

I think something really fun that people don’t talk about enough with rise Donnie is that his catchphrases relate to the situation.
“METAMORPHOSIS, that took an unexpected turn!”
Metamorphosis is a sudden and drastic change in an insect’s biology, specifically for butterflies and moths. This also relates to the fact that the cosplayers are freaky bugs.
“Ah, Newton’s apple, how could I forget the floor hatch?!”
Newton discovered gravity when an apple dropped on his head. This was a sudden, instant realization (at least in portrayal.) this lines up with Donnie suddenly remembering the floor hatch exists.
Fibonacci is often said when Donnie throws his tech bō. Because it moves in a spinning, curved motion, it’s related to the Fibonacci sequence, or the golden ratio.
I can’t find a spesific use of SohCahToa in the episodes available on Netflix in my region, but I do recall he usually jumps to land a hit when this is used. Sohcahtoa is a special geometry/trigonometry calculation used to determine the lengths of certain sides of a triangle (opposite, adjacent, hypotenuse) based on the available sides and angles given. (Fun fact, SohCahToa actually tells you which is which. Sine (opposite/hypotenuse) Cos (adjacent/hypotenuse) Tan (opposite adjacent))
